He may not win but it's a sign that Americans are getting comfortable with socialism
“Tonight we have made a little bit of history,” the white-haired socialist Bernie Sanders said at a podium positioned between Wisconsin and United States flags at the outset of his hourlong speech before a boisterous crowd. “Tonight, we have more people at any meeting for a candidate of president of the United States than any other candidate.” Sanders, a 73-year-old self-described democratic socialist, is trying to appeal to the most liberal Democrats with his message of raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, bridging the gap between rich and poor, criminal justice reform and raising taxes on the wealthy and Wall Street. “When you deny the right of workers to come together in collective bargaining, that’s extremism,” Sanders said to rousing cheers. “When you tell a woman that she cannot control her own body, that’s extremism.” Sanders has built his underdog campaign to succeed President Barack Obama on blunt talk about the economy. In addition to advocating a $15-an-hour minimum wage and raising taxes on the rich, he also supports a massive government-led jobs program to fix roads and bridges, a single-payer health care system, an expansion of Social Security benefits and debt-free college. http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2015/07/01/massive-crowd-bernie-sanders-rally-fills-10000-seat-stadium-in-madison-wisconsin/ |

I wonder how many fund raising dinners it took to pay 10,000 people.

Bernie Sanders fills 10,000 seat stadium in Wisconsin...with bullshit.
Meh, walker haters are so pissed they couldn't oust him, they will go sit anywhere for someone that opposes his policies.

10,000? There are millions of Communists in Madison, WI. That's a pretty small turnout.
It's like only getting 10% of the kids at fat camp to show up at the ice cream truck. Must be some really shitty ice cream. |
I wonder what he had to give them to show up. Free popcorn?
Trump vs. Sanders would be pretty epic.....and just what this country deserves. |

Madison.... Yup Madison. 40 sq miles surrounded by reality. |

Well, if you're a nut and want to fill a venue; you go where there is a high population of nuts.

This didn't happen in "Wisconsin," it happened in "Madison, Dane County."

No shit liberals filled up a stadium in Madison . Every time a stadium is used there it gets filled up with liberals. Those people are fucking delusional.
So, if this libtard gets elected, he will be 75 before entering office. Will we be able to save tax dollars on senior citizen discounts for everything he does? |
He is exactly what this country deserves.
I will happily vote for him. |

Please don't let this guy get elected. ETA: FBS View Quote FBS He would be big time trouble as president, but I still think Hillary would be worse. Sanders did at least vote against the Brady bill and voted for the PLCAA. He is still bad news on guns but I don't think he is a rabid zealot gun grabber, just typical democrat gun grabber. I'll say it again to be clear, that socialist fuck should not be president. |
He's a spoiler placed by the dimocrat party to make Hitlery appear moderate to middle of the road voters

He may not win but it's a sign that Americans are getting comfortable with socialism View Quote No, it's a sign that Democrats are getting uncomfortable with Hillary Clinton. Everyone should be cheering Bernie because it's a way of weakening or even blocking Hillary. |

He, as all Lefties, should be Guevara'd. That said, at least he's honest about his communism.

The 2 Progressives in my office are 100% full on 9/11 truther conspiracy kids. They hate Hillary and support Bernie all the way.
"Besides being a puppet for ZION...she isn't nearly Progressive enough" for them. This is the future of America. |
I googled him this morning and see many articles that are trying to convince
that he is not really a socialist. He is getting a movement behind him, I believe they can see that Hillary is toast |
What's sad is that Bernie might finish a close second to Hillary, but either one will smoke the R candidate by 5-8 million votes
I'm far more concerned about the political demographics in our country if a leftist extremist can pull a crowd like this.

Last night on my FB feed there was a post just gushing over Bernie. He seems like he is really connecting with the stupid in this country and we all know there are plenty of stupid people to listen.

If this guy keeps gaining ground like he is now, he wont need our help to dislodge Hillary. |
