First the ingredients. Flat Iron Steak, Mushrooms, Red pepper, and Asparagus.

First, through a dry rub on the beef then on a hot grill, 2 min on each side, turn off one side of the grill and cook for 10 more minutes with the indirect heat.

Next go back to full burn and cook the asparagus until it starts "popping"

then take the spears and give them a bath in olive oil and garlic powder.

Now saute the shrooms in butter until the start to caramelize.

Next deglaze the pan with balsamic vinegar and then sweat the onions for about 4 minutes on low heat, pulling them out while they are still crisp

Now to plate, simply garnish with your favorite hardware, a beer, and a couple of potato rolls.

Enjoy!

What's the copper thing? A bong?

9/10. Coors Light? Tsk tsk.

As far as the plate, who the hell has plates for different seasons? If you have plates with snowflakes on them, you use plates with snowflakes on them until they break and then you get a new plate. And I want a roll. The spaghetti with my shrimp scampi tonight was dry and unsatisfying.

Ding Ding we have a winner.. I was hoping the copper thingy would push the dinner to an 11/10. That right there is a modern somewhat custom 2 1/4 inch bore Thunder Mug. It is by far the loudest ordinance in my armory.

I could have put down a Guinness or a New Castle or a Dos XX or any number of fine brews, I'm a Beer distributor and my bread and butter is Coors Light. I do injoy it and would never lie and be a poseur by pretending I didn't. I do enjoy some of the "better" imports and micros that I sell, I just didn't have them on hand tonight.
