Did it have 2 chicks at once? If not, then I'm inclined to agree.

I saw it earlier today and I'm sitting here wishing I was watching it again!

Much better than episodes 1 & 2, tons of action & no Jar Jar. The acting was still a bit wooden but far better then it was, they actually let emotion show in this one. Easily the most violent Star Wars with great fight scenes. I didn't like the last Darth Vader scene however (NOOOOOOO!!!!) it was silly.

BTW, Yoda rocks.

Actually it was quite entertaining.  Tied in a lot of the first Star Wars movie plots.  Kind of cool to see Darth Vaders parts flying around.

Here is my assement of the movie...

The audio sucked.  I saw it in a newer theater at a Casino in Kansas City.  I've seen other films there, and the sound was cool.  It was almost as if the soundtrack was designed to come out of a TV speaker.

For as "powerful" as the Jedi are perceived and represented to be, the fact that Anakin just wiped them out like so many sheep is, dubious.  The fact that a handfull of clones could get one is ludacris.  Maybe all Jedi are not powerful?

I'm very irritated at the move to CGI.  It takes, what was a visible 3rd dimension in the film, and replaces it till it gigga-hurts

Oh... and that POS Jar-Jar WAS in the film... during the funeral procession.

But, I guess, I would also have to admit, there were some good things... IN THE SCRIPT.  the movie still SUCKED!!!

I like how Bail Organa just casually passed off the droids to Captain Antilles.  "Have the protocol droids memory wiped!" hehe

Mace Windu went out well.

Chewbacca was sure in the film!  Look, over there... Wookies!!! one of them is...

Let's see what else...

Oh yeah... WTF???  One of the clone trooper leaders... COMMANDER CODY?!?!?! aw geez!!

ETA:  And at the end, it FINALLY tied in the part about Jedi disappearing when killed.  This was SUPPOSED to be in Episode 2...

Did anyone see the Millenium Falcon during one of the opening seens flying into the hangar area?

That ain’t really much of a recommendation… I concur with a slightly different take.

Getting your toe nails cut with a hedge trimmer would be "much better" than episodes 1 & 2.

Actors still wooden… not painfully wooden as episodes 1 & 2 but still wooden.

So you are left with a violent action movie with great computer effects, a nothing special script, and average to worse acting… and a whole lot of hype and none of the freshness of the original Star Wars movie.

This movie is not going to hold up well long term, 5 years from a lot people are going to watch again and think “why was I so impressed the last time, it is good but that’s all”.

No Jar Jar? I liked him. He was like a space hippie, or something.

Yup as of last night I can stop going to the star wars spoiler sites and get back here.

The movie was amazing.  Went by very quick.  I have liked all the movies and this one just may be my fav.  I will have to see it a couple more times to be sure.

Two things I was a little disappointed in.

1.  They cut the scene where Yoda is talking with Qui-gon.  So the whole Jedi disappearing thing is not fully explained.

2.  The opening space battle, while good, was to short and I felt not as good as the space battle at the end of Jedi.

Other than that I loved it.  Oh and I got a nifty Yoda cup with my Dr. Pepper.
