They both use the same "Ultra FS" and "Standard FS" model names, and also the same general serial number conventions of "RIA1234567 vs. PSA1234567", with the same font and locations on engravings as well.

I'd say it's all but certain they're just RIA rebrands.

It's never been in stock.  When PSA adds new products to their site before they go on sale for the first time they show like that as OOS.  Won't know the price until they first go on sale.

They are in partnership with RIA.

edit:  PSA created an official facebook group for PSA 1911's.  They had at least one post that touted the Admiral in partnership with Rock Island Armory.

They've since removed that post.    didnt think to get a screenshot of it when i saw it, but take that for what you will.

It says on PSA's website for the pistols that they are RIA.

They should also partner with Tisas = clone guns.

Lame. Why buy this over a tisas or rock? I love 1911s, but there is no reason to buy a PSA one instead of whatever other bargain brand.

Give us a 2011 that takes glock/dagger mags for $799 or stfu. Also, where MP5, where krink, where jakl 9, etc?
