I have a very good condition (nearly excellent) M44 Mosin Nagant Carbine. It was manufactured at the Izhevsk factory in 1948, meaning it never served in the war and was properly sealed and stored until imported on October of 2012. All serial numbers on the rifle match including: receiver, magazine drop plate, bolt, and buttplate. The bore is original and would rate very good with strong rifling and is great throughout. The bolt is buttery smooth. This rifle is a fine shooter and collector piece.
I have shot approximately 300 rounds through it, cleaning it thoroughly after each use. The shots I have fired are likely the only shots it has fired after its original functionality testing.
Included in the sale is the original took kit, reporduction sling, and ammo. The ammo is as follows:
One 440 round sealed can of Russian LEAD CORE, manufactured in 1946 (according to the head stamp)
19 unpackaged rounds of Russian LEAD CORE, manufactured in 1946 (according to the head stamp)
40 unpackaged rounds of Bulgarian STEEL CORE, manufactured in 1972
Price: $550 for rifle, all 499 rounds of ammo, and tool kit. Buyer pays all shipping and all FFL fees. IM is the best way of contact. I have many more pictures I can share if requested.
