I just bought the powder measure stand and am going to pick up the powder measure tomorrow.

Is the powder measure stand supposed to be threaded?

Mine is not. I thought the powder measure threaded down into the stand according to some of the reviews I have read on it. Maybe not??????

The older stands were threaded. The newer ones, not.

I opted for the Hornady LNL stand for ease of emptying the PM, as opposed to unthreading the lock nut off the PM to remove from the stand as in new RCBS version.

What they said, not threaded. The powder measure goes through the stand and is secured with a nut below.

I just got the tall stand and a Uni Flow for Christmas. Used it with CFE 223 to load a few rounds. It stays pretty consistent and is easy to adjust. Big improvement over the Lee Perfect Measure I have been using, although I think I'll still keep that one around - not a bad measure for the price.

I ordered the baffle and micro adjustment along with picking up some wax paste to give it the Dryflash3 treatment.

You will like it.

That measure really is not complete until it has a micro adjust.

You will like the difference the wax makes.
