I can only afford one PCC factory SBR. Who's going to get to market first? Sig or LWRC?

IMO New Pistol Caliber Carbines in .45 don't make much sense. If your .gov and actually expecting to use it in anger you are far better off with a rifle caliber SBR. For the rest of us .45 out of 30rd mags just seems to equal more $$$$$.
9mm seems to be far more suited to what this will likely be used for -- a range toy. Even if you are going "down range" there are more duty rounds in 9mm available at home and abroad.
I say this as somebody who enjoys and almost exclusively shoots .45 out of handguns. |

View Quote With the sole exception of a G20, I am all in on 9mm handguns. For me the .45 ACP carbine(SBR) is the best way to launch heavy projectiles at subsonic speed through a suppressor. True, the ACP costs more than 9mm; but it is much less expensive to shoot than BLK. The standard cheap ACP loads are heavy subsonic. The ACP is easier and less expensive to load for than the BLK. The ACP has fantastic bullets which are designed to do awesome things at 800fps. Call it a range toy if you wish, to me a locked breach .45 ACP SBR is the ultimate subsonic suppressed long gun. (Hoping the LWRC thing is not just another pretty blow back PCC) |

UMP's use the same lower for .45 & 9mm. Let's hope they make a 9mm BCG and barrel |
