If so, I'm curious about what the price per round is.  I'm thinking of getting an upper in .50, but not unless I can reload for a good price.

Inferno715.....Yes Tromix lead delivery systems has been making them, but I believe they are discontinueing them, I think it is either armalite or Oly that is also providing barrels in the caliber.

Brouhah: I will price out what it will cost to reload 50ae and post it for you, I think it works out less then .70 cents a round, this does not include intital equipment charges though.

I don't reload yet for my 50AE (I save the brass though for when I will start).

The cheapest I've found a box of 20 rounds in this caliber is $15.54 at http://www.cheapshot1.com

I've ordered from them once before, their service seems to be good.

The Tromix 50AE uppers are discontinued.  Sales on them slowed to about nothing after the .458 SOCOM came on the scene.  I had to buy fairly large lots of those special 1:25 twist barrels and then ended up sitting on them while they collected dust for over a year.  I am done doing that shit.

I reaload them for My Tromix upper. Pretty easy,
was the first no shotgun round that I loaded.
Biggest cost is the bullets, I think they are $10
for 50? The dies pay for themselves really quickly
in that round.
