I will say, it does seem to be high quality. The reticle is sharp, the glass is clear, and the UI is very simple. When the gun is mounted, the front sight sits dead center in the optic. I like that, since you can’t have the factory ghost ring rear on it anymore. I was able to turn the optic off and essentially use the optic itself as the rear aperture, and make very accurate hits with slugs at 50 yards. Time will tell what kind of durability it has. I’m cautiously optimistic as Vortex makes decent stuff, and this was specifically designed for use on shotguns. |

Got the 1301 today. So glad i got the OD green,looks awesome.All grins when the FFL opened the box Got it home,field stripped it and cleaned the Italian funk out of the bolt,etc.Easy to take apart and clean.Removed the mag spring plug thingy so all 7 rounds fit in the mag Kinda like the Mesa stock other than the distance to the safety and the diameter of the grip,but will put on the Magpul SGA stock when it arrives to see which one i like better. Love the light feel and the grip of the forearm.Very smooth action with great trigger Took it to my private range in the backyard and fired 30 Winchester X 00 buck to see how it ran. Popping steel very consistent up to 30 yards or so. Recoil was bit more than my TS12 with same loads Also tried about 20 low brass Remington bi rdshot to see how it functioned with cheap game loads. Not any issues,ran perfect.Will try some Federal Truball slugs next week. Waiting to get a red dot,mount, and my SGA stock. So far i love it,my wife well she has a bruise on her shoulder but she likes it too  Will update as upgrades get put on Fresh out of the box-  " />

Some upgrades today. Much better handling. Love the Holosun with the circle reticle. Lightweight and quick on target. Just a quick FYI if anyone is wondering, the Primary Arms MD-21 does not sit low enough with the factory mount to see the sights through it. It also does not fit on the Aridus / GG&G mounts for the T1. It's too long and you can't get to the front screw. Anyone have a list of optics / mount combos that you can see the iron sights through or still have iron sights? I'm also trying to keep it somewhat economical (around $1800ish for the gun complete, which includes optic, light, sling, etc) so please don't just say T2. Thanks! |

I understand the Reptila Acro mount accomplishes this. Its what I am going with once mine gets here. |

That is what I used (H2 with 6m dot). It is a little difficult to get the front screw, but I suggest using a ball end of a hex key that will allow some angling of the wrench to get the screw in. Also, with either a H2 or T2, you can’t use the factory flip covers. And, since you are giving up the flip covers, you could save a little money and go with a H1 or T1. |

Ok, mine came in finally. Sooooo, Beretta, seriously?!?! Too cheap to ship out w velcro for a saddle and some kind of sling swivel stud?!?! What are you guys running factory stocks using to attach slings? |

IIRC, it's easy to miss. |

So no one has advice for sling mounting? Considering removing the stock, tracing a section of mlok and using my router to make a mlok slot near the buttplate for a qd mount. |

My 1301 did not have velcro with it. A friend's a300 did. I do find it strange that they include it with the cheaper option but not the more expensive one. I used the Noveske fush cup on the side of my stock. There should be a qd cup on the bottom of the stock, it just has a rubber plug in it. Saw on Facebook that the new aridus handguard is in stock this morning if anyone is interested. |

I just back ordered a Imperium handguard. I like the Zhukov, and I like the GG&G barrel shroud, but it takes away the ability to use the Briley Stage Saver. Imperium adds maybe 1.5 oz to what I have now, so, meh. Jay |
