 found this on a myspace site of a Cpl. I would assume it would be a Colt M16A4, but with all the cool doohickies added on. but why the white lettering? maybe im just playing dumb right now. ETA: please dont tell me its an airsoft. i dont know what i would do with myself if i realized id confused the two

It's either airsoft or an AR15. Definately not an M16A4 with the post-ban barrel. An that "M203" also looks very fake.

I don't know about the dressing up part, but there are a few kids over here who have airsoft M16s in the barracks.... Private ownership of both paintball gunsand real firearms are illegal, and we only have so much range time.... I can kind of see the point over here (Korea), given the above situation (i.e. just like Japan)... Of course, if they wanted to 'dress up', they're issued all the correct gear to do it... |

I have three AR's, the oldest 10 years, and they all look as new as that. I know some people think a real AR has to look like it's been through hell, but I take good care of mine all the time. I always watch how and where I set them down, as well as keep them clean. Odviously, if the need arose, I would quickly use it as a club or anything else if necessary. Might as well keep them nice if possible.

I can't clearly see a forward takedown pin.
Its got 3 settings on the selector (so its either NFA or airsoft) No flashhider? I'm pretty sure all mil gear except the uber precise rifles have flash hiders. Also I see no Bayonet lug. -JIM- |

I own many Air soft guns great fun. Safe way to train with friends with out the risk of someone not unloading a gun and shooting me and having to say "my bad". he but really i like them best because i have friends who want to learn to shoot but who i would NOT just hand any real gun, even if it was unloaded. Dont get me wrong these people really do want to learn how to be safe with and know how to use firarms. Because airsoft are so real looking i use them for safety training before i take any of my friends to the range. i say lets ban the ghey possers! ........ "ban" well i'll leave that up to personal interpretation. |

I knew this would be an airsolf before I even saw the pic. The last thread about "what gun is this" was also airsoft.
It's a KAC clone. Gas block is set up for KAC suppressor. FF tube ring is retarded. Don't see a gas tube, etc etc. Oh and the M203 trigger guard makes the trigger unusable. The 203 is mounted too low because it's mounted on the rail. But Hey............  Nevermind airsoft, I hate Myspace. |
