You have the cool Ranger patch on the hat, so its OK.
I have one of those uppers I've been looking at for over a year, because I told myself I wasnt going to shoot until I got the can for it. Hopefully in the next month |

+1 to steve's comments above...? Want2Race, Not to hijack, but were you with Regiment? |
Aww man that is sweet! I've got a pic of my buddy in the 10th SFG firing off one of those when he was in Kosovo a couple of years ago.
Wearing something not earned...... BTW, that big rubber patch on the mat is not for putting the rifle on............... |
sweeet stick, how do you like the ops can, cant wait for my 12th model 30Cal can to get here
Man, what glass is that on your 107? Anyway, I have never done better than 2 MOA with the Barrett, either. I'm shooting roughly 3 MOA with M8 API right now.
I agree about the cans. I "lost" my SPR and had it replaced with the SR, but I loved the can. I have been impressed with the KAC QD, as well. We have not experienced any change in POI with that device. I can't say the same for the SR-25. As for shooting with the bipod on the mat, I have found that if I zero from the bipod while shooting on the turf I have POI issues when shooting from concrete, so I shoot with the bipod on a mat/pad when shooting from concrete and hard surfaces. This is not an issue when shooting from a sling. Just an observation. Great photos. They made me nostalgic for those bursts on maidens at 200m! |

No hijack. Prior 2/75, 5 yrs. Earned the patch. want2race has class. I don't think I would have been as polite. |

Ricochets can be deadly or at least hurt really bad. Just a step above wearing eyes and ears (or do you give people greif for being safe in general) |

That is why I simply asked, I didn't ASSume anything |

Fight like you train, train like you fight. Besides shooting is more fun when you are geared up... |

And this is the second time in this thread I've seen you act like a jackass. |

This has nothing to do with safety and you know it. |

First: As was posted, train as you fight. Shooting in BA is vasty different than shooting without it. Second: It was 45 degrees still, it didn't warm up to the 50's until later in the day. If you have experience in BA you would know it's like an oven for your torso. Third: Jealousy is unbecoming. I wasn't going to post this pic, but since I've been called out on trying to be tacti-cool I will. We took a break for a minute to get a pic down by the river (and yes, we drive a van). I would post a pic of the guests we were hosting, but PERSEC prevents it. I designed the 3+2 mag pouch where wearing. Nothing special, but I couldn't find what I wanted on the open market so I had it made. "That's how we roll." So next time your filling up with gas and you see this Grizzly adams MF'r, check your 6 because I won't be too far away. Be sure to wave. |

Good shooting! however i'm confused...did you say 175Grains? HUNTER. |

He was referring to a group shot by a 7.62 NATO SR-25. |

So says the man who has never been hit by hot lead. Sometimes you dont get a chance to learn from mistakes. Sometimes you do. |

You are truly among the uninitiated, aren't you? Did you really think this was some punk kid posing with body armor, multiple cans and FA/SBR equipment while wearing his cousin's hat with the Ranger crest? Do you really think that the .mil and other agencies don't encourage, if not mandate, shooting with body armor under certain circumstances for a multitude of reasons? |

nice weapons Want2!
Precisely, but then something as logical as that surely escapes those who come here purely to rip on people that are obviously below them. I often wonder why a single thread cannot go through this site without some self-important prick making a wise assed comment on ones weapon, gear, technique, or choice of attire (not the knit cap comment)? For once I wish the MODS here would actually MODERATE this place, and put an end to the one thing that drags this place down. |

Thanks for all the compliments. I just wanted to share some pics, it's not everyday we get treated by having photogs present.

I am going to give a +1 to the body armor. I wear it every time I go to the range. There are too many unknowns at the range. I wear it with when I shoot with the people I work with as well. Too many mistakes with firearms only get to be made one time.

wouldn't the armor help stiffen you up a little for better shooting too?

Why don't you stick to lecturing guys with yellow glasses and not folks that shoot at people for a living? Jesus Christ, this site degenerates more and more every damned day. Want2Race, what kinda IR setup is that on the CQBR? That looks a helluva lot nicer than a PEQ... I'm gonna hit you with an IM in a bit, as I think you might run with some dudes I know. |

Thanks for sharing the pics. No close ups of the weapons?
You sure attract odd comments, last time there were a bunch of posts about your belt. Guess while we are on the topic of attire, that vest looks allot like something we had when I was in, just good for frags, not bullets. Heck, I might still have one..... |
Nice gear--thanks for posting the pics. Looks like a heck of a lot of fun there.
FWIW........every single RO where I shoot wears BA
`Someone must be hittin' the single-malt tonite. |
