I've seen comments / descriptions of KAC Taupe front sights being both anodized tan and also painted (I assume with Cerakote).

Are both clone correct? Thanks

Sure looks like an AAC M4-2k. The latch and end cap stand out.

I that that when I first saw it, too, but a better pic showed it being a NT4. Will see if I can find it.

That'd be cool. I swear I can see the flutes and everything. Must be from low resolution. That and the "silver latch" being in an odd spot (towards the bottom) led me to think it was aac. The latch is always on top with a kac. But then again, with the resolution it could be anything.

Very cool. Always liked fixed carry handle shorties. Reminds me of the 90s and early 2000's.

How long til someone clones it? Now just wait for the flood of A2 cqbr clones.

Got a pri gas buster again. Idk how many different ones I’ve owned, I need to stop selling them because I ultimately end up right back where I started.
Also, thanks to @eyekahn for the old school bushmaster car15 stock. I know, it’s not colt or b5, but  you could never tell just from looking.

Anyone else use a boonie packer redi catch?

I was originally planning to run one with a redi-mag, but then I learned they don't work with the steel redi-mag so I decided to run a BAD lever instead, they came out in 2009 so it'll work for a mid OEF contractor build. I'll run a redi-catch and redi-release on something else, probably a SWAT build or something

If you got them from the ee, I wonder if we got them from the same person?

Edit- what did you mean by " snagged up a few several years ago for a song"?

Besides the CQD rear sling mount, what are considered correct? I am interested in moving to something that I can use the U-Loops on that isn't as bulky while using the CQD for the front point.

Also, coyote SOPMOD stocks are clone correct yes?

Were there not other endplates used? I looked through the thread and it looked like there may have been some but it was hard to tell in the pics.

Those are likely late M16A1 to early M16A2 carriers, most of them have the old style top staking. If you spin them around and take a picture of the other side, you'll be able to tell how early they are by the size of the FPRP hole.
