I just wanted to say thank you to all the people here who helped me put my first AR together [espescially the site staff] your blunt opinions and advice made it all possible I really appreciate it...

SPECS:
STAG lower with RRA lower parts kit
RRA A4 CAR upper 1:9 twist [not chrome lined]
YHM 2 piece carbine rail system
YHM BUIS

CONS:

Before ya'll gripe at me for the BSA crappy red dot optic, I got it for free off of a friend so I juss slapped it on to have while I save up enough money for an EoTECH

It's not chrome lined [I know I know] next upper I buy will be, but I still love this one.

PROS:

It shoots like a dream [less than a MOA at 50 yds.]

It eats up anything i feed it, although the worst grade ammo I shot out of it was some Monarch 55 gr.  [I'm not a big fan of wolf sorry]

thanx again fellas, enjoy the pics!-Swanker

Nice looking rifle!!! I love the pics with the stone wall in the background. You need an eotech/aimpoint sometime in the future to top it off.

I LOVE GUN PORN!!!

Welcome to the wonderful, fascinating, and maddening world of the Black Rifle.  Know ye that  Black Rifle Disease, also known as BRD, is VERY real, and you will be infected if you aren't already.  As most anyone around here can attest, it's like tatoos: once you get one, you can't stop (or at least it's VERY hard to resist the urge!).  Me?  I have three uppers arriving from J&T this week to mate to some Stag lowers.

Your AR looks awesome, btw, and is very close to what I have/use on my first M4gery setup.  The next M4 I'm building may stay more basic, but since it's going to be the kids' gun, it's going to have a BSA on it also.  No shame in that... if you're not going into combat anytime soon, that BSA should work just fine for ya.  Just don't slam it against anything, and don't let a tank run over it!

Good job with your first AR. Don't worry about the crappy optics. It is an evolution. I started with a 20 year old Bushnel on my ar before upgrading to an Aimpoint M2. That's part of the fun.

Yea I like the way they felt in my hand the best, very comfortable, very sturdy.

I'm very happy with the YHM 2 piece, it's rock solid, very tight fit [doesnt move at all] and it was easy to install [there are others here who had a more difficult time but luckily mine wasnt bad at all]
