I just got my Laser Devices OP-6 light. This is one great light. I'm no tactical gear pro, but for the money, I just can't figure out why so many people buy the surefire lights still. It seems every bit as good in quality, but it's atleast $100.00 cheaper! Heres the web page, check them out.

I've got a 9 on my AK with a barrel mount. The thing is rock solid so far.

Actually it is someone who advertises here. Had I known I'd have gone through your site, but it's only a couple dollars.

Nope, I think you have not done enough research. You should have gotten a PentagonLight M-Series light instead. I got a non-mounted one as a backup light from PentagonLight for myself. I was so impressed by its quality that I recommended to our dept, which just replaced the surefire classic lights on the AR's with MS2 light.

Check them out out at http://www.pentagonlight.com/products.cfm?id=4&search=ms2&search=ms3

We got them direct with LE discount. But I think there are dealers selling them below $200. Don't know if Grant gets them. He should be and will know what I am talking about if he has seen their work. So, I would say you got a bad deal. Laser Devices are so poorly made compared to Pentagon given the same money. You probably should return it and exchange for a Pentagon MS2 instead.

Thos Pentago lights do have some cool features, but they do cost more, and I don't see that they're all that much better than what I got. I'm still happy with what I got.

Ok, so I just checked and it looks like Grant at gandrtactical.com has PentagonLight. That MS2 at $199 is a great price. Our dept paid more but we get 30-day credit and less problem with our chief when we go direct. But I paid more for my own X2 light than what Grant listed. Sh*t! I guess I will check next time when I'm ready to go for a LED light from PentagonLight.

Whats your price for both of them, and will the SF one fit n the OP-6?

I let the place know that GandRtactical.com had the light for 20.00 cheaper, and he refunded the difference, so it worked out ok. But I'll still be going to Grant for the IR cover.
