Yes, I read the postit above!!  However...
When you purchase a high end barrel and bolt assembly, why would it need to be checked on a new weapon?  After reasonable usage, sure...  but new?

Are you simply confirming it is manufactured properly?  If so...of the current crop of barrels and bolts, what percentage are out of spec right out of production???

I only check headspace on new builds for saftey.  Odds are verry high (near 100%) that everything will match when you use good parts from known vendors.

So if I switched from an A2 to an A3 upper there should be no problem with headspace using the same barrel and bolt?

yes, the bolt and barrel determine headspace, so you are good to go...
