Bruh...
Whats up with that optic. Also you would've been better served with regular BUIS instead of a 45 degree set. Offset BUIS are only really useful with a magnified optic. |
What's wrong with the optic? Other than it was only 22 buçks...lol
Having offset sights makes NO sense without a magnified optic. Put some good quality normal backup iron sights on this thing. Save for a new optic, I mean for the bare minimum get a vortex spark or strikefire, they are great optics for the money with a lifetime warranty. I mean if you were going for a Call of duty style rifle, awesome job, but if this is designed for self defense you may want to start over.
They are BACK UP sights that fold down out of the way...prob never use them!
If I flip them down and take another pic will that make you fellas happy? |

This kind of reminds me why I hear the AR platform called a Barbie Gun.

If you truly only have 22 bucks in that complete rifle hats off to your sir.
It is exactly what you say it is a frankenbuild |

I have no money out of pocket in this frankenbuild! |

Op, I applaud your ability to parley(sp?) your way into this rifle for nothing or almost nothing but I question whether that amount of effort and time would be worthwhile for most people. If it is a beater, great. If you need to depend on it, make sure the parts are up to the task.
Thank you sir!! And yes its a beater purely for a good time at the sand pit ...
How about a parts break down for the new guys like me that can't look at it and say. That a Anderson lower or a dd barrel. Just curious
Well OP at least you tried..maybe next time. Gotta start some where.

View Quote You'll find lots of knowledgeable people here, who have been building, shooting, and even designing ar's for as long as the ar has been around Lots of people here have taken the ar into combat, are competitive shooters, or have found out what works throught trial and error. If you came here looking for nothing but attaboys for a bunch of Mall-Ninja junk on your rifle, this isn't the place for that. |

That ejection port cover matches the rifle perfectly.... View Quote For a second I thought it said "zombie fucker". |

Really....its just a small flashlight , a red dot , and a set of bius...

The red dot is perfectly functional...so if I take off the buis and the flashlight will you guys stop whining like high school girls?
Also Am I allowed to put an afg on it or is that non functional to?

Congrats on your first build OP. shoot it, enjoy it and make changes as you see fit.
Welcome. |

Despite the people dragging you down, it's your build and you should be happy you assembled it.

I dont think it would have been as bad if you you either had a scope instead of the red dot, or just didnt have the 45 off set BUIS. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

It's a red dot that has a riser added to it, with 45 degree *flip ups* With the designed intention of function, there's a whole lot of excess there. |
