Full auto or Semi auto? I have a semi auto Colt 9mm bolt in my rifle. I was thinking of tradeing for a full auto Colt 9mm bolt even up. I would like to know what one is the better of the two & why? I need some help on this, could someone who knows about 9mm AR's please help? Mark

I’ve never seen a semi-auto 9mm Colt bolt, doesn’t mean much that I haven’t seen them though. My Colt 9mm Sporter Lightweight came from Colt with a FA bolt, I was told that’s just how it was done with these guns. I imagine the FA bolt is going to be heavier than the SA bolt and that can be desirable. Sorry I can’t be of more help, I’m curious to find out what others have to say though. Best regards, J

Hi All Pics of both carriers 9mm semi auto - 9mm full auto Troy : Take note that the semi Auto carrier does not have the oval cut out on the bottom rear of the carrier for the auto sear ... and the Full auto carrier does ... You can't compare a Standard M16 / AR-15 223 carrier to a 9MM carrier assy ..they are different designs ... Mark has a Semi Auto Carrier Not a Full Auto Carrier.. Mark - Please check your email ..
