american ammo (aka amerc) is low quality crap. It makes wolf seem positively Q3131A by comparsion.

That has been heavily reviewed: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=16&t=245598 In general, AE is good stuff. Their brass, if you receive FC brass, is not the best out there for reloading. |

300 rounds of Amerc ran fine for me in the past. Although that is all that I ran through. I just use black hills or my own reloads now. The only ammo that hasn't worked for me was PMC. I would get FTE on every round, so they must have been running terribly slow.

Shot 40 rds flawlessly through my rifle. Little experience with it since it's range ammo and I only went once. Going again on thursday to shoot 100 or so. |

If you decide to buy some, just take a pants with a bullseye on the crotch and tell a recently divorced woman that she's butt ugly-should have stayed married. It will save you time and money!

I like it. Great for plinking. My department also issues it as practice ammo. Shot a bunch of yestersay without a single problem. Not sure about the quality of the brass. I don't reload so I never gave it much thought. |
