My first PSA "build" although it was really not much of a build. I bought both the assembled upper, m16 bcg/carry handle, and complete lower from PSA and slapped em together. lol. I've since traded off this rifle, but it shot great. It's a PTAC 189.99 special upper. I had no issues with it. Cheap UTG red dot and magpul bus. The parts (minus the sights) were right at 525 dollars which includes shipping and FFL fee.

Seeing all these great builds, I remembered "wait a minute, I painted my PSA build a while back and never posted photos..." You can find my original build thread here, with links to a range report as well.
Nothings changed except the paint. Went for a grey/urban type camo on the rifle, optic, and mags. The paint is starting to wear and look really nice:)

16 inch SS fluted upper with 13.5 inch SQR rail. PSA nickel boron BCG. BCM mod 4 CH. Anderson lower with PSA lower parts kit, MOE grip, and Magpul ASC-L stock. Nice shooter.

PA-10 with ss 18" barrel, Diamondhead 15" rail, Magpul M-Pro's, RRA two-stage trigger, and a FSC-30 flash suppressor. Had to take a tiny bit off the back end of the RRA hammer to allow the bolt to run without hanging up, but no other issues during assembly.

Took the accessories off my YHM railed rifle and put them on a new upper I received yesterday.
-PSA upper -PSA Freedom 16" SS lightweight barrel -MI 12" SSK keymod rail I'm quite pleased with how light she is now, and the balance is much closer to the mag well. Very nice ergos and balance, and the mid length gas system keeps her extremely controllable. I'm probably going to throw a Miculek brake on her, and save up for a Primary Arms 1-4x scope to put on the YHM railed upper now. Keep the KMR'd upper as a light close-in/run-and-gun rifle, and turn the quad railed upper into something of a recce-ish build.

Okay, this is my latest PSA build. Just finished installing the Trijicon night sights; the rear sight was a piece of cake... the front not so much. There are a lot of scratches around the front sight where I had to file the crap out of the novak notch to get the sight to fit. 
The beavertail is for a government model which is what I thought this was... the rear of the frame is actually cut for a commander grip safety. I will be replacing it soon. If you have never built a 1911 you are in for a treat.

Results, not excuses.
Freedom 16" SS middy, mine arrived with a fair scrape on the barrel, marks on the barrel nut and a dimple on upper rcvr. I added the lower, scope/scope mount, f/r sights, bcg, CH and bipod.
Zeroed pretty well at 100yrd with Federal xm193.
