But it was always the small things that made them stand out to me. I mean, at least have a flat rate on orders over $500 or something is my suggestion, or simply go back to the old school way. Even on 'small' orders that flat shipping was a reason to shop LaRue versus another place. They still have my business, don't get me wrong there. |

| Not sure how to get a dillo!? I just placed my first direct order through LaRue for an Aimpoint M4s with QD mount and everything arrived very quickly and I love my gear. I know its stupid, but I was looking forward to seeing a dillo in the box with my gear, and there wasn't one! ;-( How do I get one? |

Well, I got my sweet 16" OBR in the 5.56 calibre today. So I took my best gal to pick up my unnamed 2'nd best gal: the rile itself was just perfect! I am thrilled to be supporting your organization because of your patriotism and dedication to 6 Sigma manufacturing standards for all of the products I have purchased from LaRue Tactical. Hell, I didn't realize how much LaRue product it was going to take to get my NIB SCAR 16 to a proper base level after the buy. Fwiw, I also got you a new customer along with my delivery; even though he is a TCU Alum (with a Sig 5.56) you can get him set up properly, just speak slowly! The G (man) trigger felt great and there are a lot of details to go over, such as the Owners Manual, before we go to the range. My SCAR 6, while nice, doesn't seem to mean quite as much to me at this moment: Texas made, Texas Spec, Brad Thor poppin your collar in his last novel. Yeah, "we bad!". I hope the rest of the order comes along tomorrow; Blk Tac Sling, BUIS, Sling Adaptor, etc...although I am a little concerned Alfred's input of my order was caught in a black (IT) hole when I called in the order a few weeks ago (to add onto the existing order #). It seems these extras would weigh more than 2 lbs? When my best girl (my wife and best friend of 20 years) cleared the chamber and saw that bolt with LaRue on the side, and laid down a perfect cheek weld onto that RISR... I knew that getting another set of your bipods would be no problem! So be forewarned: This 16" 5.56 OBR is officially now "Texas Sexy," too! God Bless and warmest regard, Mark and Shannon Fening |

Had another great experience with LaRue. I ordered an 11" rail for my LMT and was sent the SBRS instead, i.e. the gooseneck. I called and let them know what happened and they shipped a new one out to me immediately (shipped same day) with a return label for the other which I dropped off today.

So I had to make myself some dinner tonight..had some hamburger, an onion and a can of kidney beans. at first I was pretty sure there werent any spices or anything in the house...and then I remembered the dillo dust still sitting in the box my 104 came in. I really didn't think it would be very good..but uhh...thanks for making dinner NOT SUCK tonight...god damn delicious.
edit: just choped the onion into the burger and sprinkled the hell out of it with the dust, then did the same to the beans in a pot. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm |

| Had a hiccup with placing my order with a spectator band called um up and the had me set within minutes. Cant wait to put in my next order with you guys. Now i just have to wait by the door for the package to come in! Thank god christmas is coming up so i have an excuse to spend more money!!! |

The telephone CS gentleman that I spoke to on the phone when I ordered my RISR a few weeks back was one of the most polite people I have ever had the pleasure of talking to about an online order. The online tech gentleman, Will, who recently answered my questions about the EOTech mount (LT-110) and which magnifier mount to use with it, was extremely helpful and patient, never patronizing or condescending about how "dumb" my questions may have sounded... The folks who design, build / assemble your products are, as far as I can tell, top-notch. They make the products that are so easy to use, a US Army Infantryman can't screw them up... My last call was for info, prior to ordering a scope mount (other than a T1) for my OBR. While I have heard eerie high pitched whining sounds (like air rushing out of an inflated balloon when the open lips are stretched) about the $ of L-T/APPI products, you will notice that my purchasing has not been regulated to any single area of products. I've got almost one of each, in a "bit-player" sort of role, anyhow... The point is (Fingar, this is for you too, great vids from Shot Show and for your Pics/photos), the clear, high quality, customer service experience that I have always received from your firm is the 6 Sigma Standard, afaik! Gr8 Parts are Gr8 Parts; Knowledge and Service are two separate matters. At L-T, I get a 3-Fer! And, you add your personal guarantee is the only "honest" warranty I have ever seen anyway. My eyes don't bleed when I read your "statement of satisfaction!" if I don't mount it, or it doesn't work, I can return it. Haven't returned anything to date. I think those "other sounds" you hear from the .003 of your customers that aren't happy, well, I really don't want to touch on any part do that one, iykwim. Very impressed with my first order. Came fast even though 1 item is back ordered, now have my first dillo, used dillo dust on a pork roast...very nice! and with luck my OBR will be on the way soon. Nice to do business with good people who still know its ok to have fun as a part of doing business.

Got my first order from you guys a few minutes ago. I ordered it on Monday. If the only thing in the box was the mount I ordered I would have been happy and impressed that it got here so quickly.
But much to my surprise there was a Dillo, Dillo Dust and some bumper stickers that fit my office theme very nicely. I never would have thought the extra stuff would be thrown in with a $150 order. You guys are awesome and I can't wait to send you some more of my money. Thanks! |

I recieved my OBR a couple of weeks ago in Hawaii, but hadnt gotten a chance to shoot it yet, so i brought it with me on leave to WV. Set up a nice 500m range with some 10" steel hangers. Zeroed her in at 100 with a cheapy wally world scope, and let my 61 yo dad have the first "official" shot.. He didnt let me have it back for 3 hours... Mr. LaRue, you put a smile on my old man's face that i havent seen in a long time.. I owe you a debt, Sir.
Ordered a hoodie and mag dyn precision day after xmas and got it delivered today. Sweater is AWESOME! Will watch dvds when i get back to hawaii. Thank you for the dillo, and for the "LaRuler". Every time i order, im always amazed at the wealth of generousity i find. Thank you Mr. LaRue!!! Next order will be for the Leupold glass and LT104 when i get my tax return. :) Thanks for everything!!!! Ps: do you guys still do the OBR Owners Edition hat? +1 for another incredibly fast delivery and satisfied customer. I placed an order early Thursday for the Marz combo chest rig and some mag pouches and everything arrived early Friday afternoon. Just in time to take it out Saturday morning! It's a solid product and well worth the money. I'm sure I will be looking at more MOLLE accessories to add on to this chest rig.

Placed my first order with LaRue today, When I told Amy that I was calling from Afghanistan and only had a few minutes on the phone, She said no problem and the order was complete in 3 minutes. Gotta wait til tax time, but I WILL be ordering a PredatAR for my welcome home gift to myself.
ETA: Seven days shipping from the States to Afghanistan is great. Will post pics of the goodies in a few days (the weather is crap right now). Also household 6 approved an OBR instead of a PredatAR!!!!!!!!!! |
