The compacts were almost impossible to find in stock when they first dropped as well. Kinda wish PSA would wait until they have a decent stock built up before offering them, but, how else can you judge how popular something is going to be, and whether to really ramp up production? If you make 100, sell them out in 5 minutes that's great. Make 10,000 and sell 100, not so much. |
| The notification system only kicks in once they have been in stock for a certain amount of time. Items that get stocked and immediately sell out don't trigger the system. PSA has posted that information themselves several times. I am on the verge of buying another P365 instead. |

I checked earlier to see which model MattBB said was dropping today, made sure my default FFL was set, my credit card was on file, I was logged in, and hitting refresh every 2 seconds on the page Matt had said, starting at 3:55 eastern. At around 4:02 by my watch, the all-black micro dagger showed up as in-stock. I hit "Buy Now" and "Confirm" as fast as humanly possible (doing it that way skips the whole multi-page/multi-click 'add to card', then go 'checkout', 'review your order', etc process). The site seemed to hang for about 30 seconds, and then it confirmed the order was in (I might have yelled 'yahoooo' about that time). It went back out of stock/was sold out about 90 seconds later. Good times! |

@PalmettoStateArmory Glad to see you are having success with the launch. I spotted one model for about 30 seconds as in stock but it sold out by the time I tried to add it to the cart for checkout. For what it's worth, based on the post on your Instagram account, your posted micro inventory is selling out so quickly that you may be causing buyer frustration that will have folks giving up on trying to purchase a micro. If you all have enough inventory available and can limit the quantity purchasable to keep a dealer from buying 40 at a time, you may want to consider making at least some format of the pistol more regularly available for buyers in the coming weeks, if it's complete frames and then buy a slide for final assembly on your own(maybe kick a few mags in a package with the frames or slides). |

I picked my (first) Micro Dagger up from the FFL on my lunch break today. Obviously haven't shot it yet, but wow, man, this thing feels much better in the hand than a 43x. Like, feels shockingly better in the hand than a 43x - grip shape, grip texture, trigger shoe, trigger pull, all of it significantly better. Slide also has deeper grooves that make it easier to grip for racking and/or press-checking (if you do that sort of thing). I'll run a few hundred rounds through it this weekend and see how it goes, but unless I find that there's some kind of reliability problem, I'll be selling my 43x's and buying more Micro's as they become available (although I may keep my plain Jane 43x, sometimes it's nice to just have a bare bones gun). Anyhoo - current mood w/regard to the Micro Dagger =

I'd be interested to see what people say who also own the regular compact and S frame daggers, as far as triggers and such. Bordertown Holsters has said they already can make holsters for the Micro Dagger and G48 version (I forgot what PSA called it) in their pull down menu. He did specifically state they are separate holsters from the G43X and G48. I remember reading long ago they were shooting for fitting G43X and G48 holsters, although that might just be a bordertown holster thing because his holsters are very fitted compared to something like Safariland which is basically a plastic box you throw a gun inside I say that because I had a G43 holster from him that was approximated the shape, that a 43X would not fit because of the rails. |
If you don't see a mention of which one will be on sale anywhere, just check this link right around 3:00 p.m. Texas time or 4:00 p.m. Yankee time  . This is only the listings of the complete Micro Daggers, not the frame or the separate magazines. But I woke up this afternoon, saw what time it was and click the link and saw the model that was in stock at the top of the list. If some miracle of miracle happens and they have more than one version in stock, it will be sorted lowest to highest. |

In dry firing it, the trigger feels more crisp when breaking through the wall than my two Daggers. Both of my compacts (to me) feel a bit mushy before the trigger breaks. It’s not anything that bothers me, but I’m trying to speak to your point in your post. I’m hoping I get to take the micro to the range this weekend to see if it might be a contender to replace the Hellcat as my EDC. |
