Can someone please spec out the proper parts list for a gun that uses this rail? Are they all Colt 11.5" barrels that the troy rails were swapped from? What about gas blocks and the rest? Optics? Thanks |

Thanks Gas blocks appear to be Geissele but could be wrong. Black rail guns were approved for Aimpoint Micros and one of the Sig red dots. OD rails have aimpoint t2's. This is from all pics I can find online. |

I'd never heard of these green Federal rails before Tuesday but they look nice. Picked one up early this afternoon. Going to pair it with a 10.5 Faxon barrel and probably a YHM can. |

OK I got in on the Mk4 rail so an FBI clone is in the works. ODG of course. I got the USASOC rail kit as well so I could have a ODG CH. Will probably sell off the rail and use the GB. I've already got a URG-I clone in the works in DDC. I like the MK5 with the 1913 sections up front, I'm old school and not a fan of M-Lok.
I think I'm going to build this in 6.5 Grendel though. I know it won't be clone-correct but I'm a big fan of 6.5 and Alexander Arms makes a great 11" barrel that should fit with the rail. |

Just got a tracking number for my order from yesterday. Glad this is going smooth. Quoted: You will not have clearance for a can. The flash hider will be partially covered by the rail. You need a 9.5 rail, 10s are for 11.5 barrels. Then again the 2nd photo shows a 10.5” barrel on a 10” G rail and it looks like the muzzle device is slightly under the rail.

the ones i have are genuine colt factory anodized 4 position tubes. 7075 material.
they run about $50-60 shipped online. they are used, not new. |
