Colt tubes in FDE and OD. Not mine. Emailed him earlier to grab and OD tube. I picked up an FDE tube a while back and it's GTG.

| These rails are not HRT specifc. They’re a FBI contract rail to replace the Troy rails they were running. I know of 2 regional FBI swat guys that were running them earlier this year also. Some set ups I’ve seen are OD Geissele Fed rail, Troy M4 flip up sights, Aimpoint H2 on a DD Mount, Magpul OD grip and CTR stock Surefire M300 on a thorntail, Insight PEQ, Geissele SSF trigger, and a HRT ThEnar. |

If you have a thin wrench (Proto makes a good set for cheap) you could most likely get by with a 10.5" barrel. That should put the shoulder just shy of 10", which the cherry bomb adds 1/16" (at most) before the Plan B hits it, which should put you forward of the rail and then you'll have the ~3/16" of the Plan B wrench flats to play with before the rear of the Omega. It'll be a tight squeeze but it should work with a 10.5" 10.3" I believe is a no-go but I will mock it up at the store and see. If you don't mind IM me as a reminder and I'll post results here. |

I know the 11.5" Colt HBAR FBI HRT barrel that Sharkarms and others have for sale is more clone correct, but I saw there is a sale on a new DD 11.5" CHF from OpticsPlanet for $249 - 11% Cyber Monday code for $221 with free shipping. I'm not needing this to be 100% period clone correct. More just of an inspired build. Big difference either way between the Colt or the DD? Or just flip a coin? |

Saw the UPS notification my ODG Federal rail was delivered. Opened it up and I am 99% sure it is black and not OD Green, unless I am getting colorblind
Anyone else have the ODG color rail with photos yet? @GACS is this just a super dark green or did I get a black one on my green order? 
Here is is next to a stripped upper, a DD RIS 2, and a KAC RAS.

Hah, that’s what I thought, just wanted to make sure I’m not crazy. Just checked a few of the threads in general and see people posting their green rails, unmistakably green. I’ll hit up G’s customer service tomorrow and give them a chat. I’m still working on a barrel for this, so not in a hurry. |

I did get a hold of CS and they are squaring me away. I did politely ask if I could buy a ODG ACH for full price. They said unfortunately they can’t do that, one and done for Black Friday.
