I think I might go ahead and put together my first clone rifle

Arm or Ally has a nice deal at the moment for BA 11.5 barrels.
Going that route for my MK4 so that I may afford an optic soon and not be murdered when the credit statement comes. Also hoping to start the precedent for acceptance of loosely interpreted clone parts. |

| Don't know about HRT but I did see a FBI SWAT rifle. OD Geissele rail, shiny G gas block, inforce WML on top rail, Magpul MLOK covers and hand stop(OD green), Magpul CTR in OD green and Ergo grip black. Aimpoint H2 in a DD mount. Unknown BUIS. Will try to find the picture of it. |
| I'm OK with loose clone too lol the heavy barrels are cool and clone correct but I kinda want to pair something light like a bcm elw with this rail. I'm already gonna have to pistol my 11.5 being in a state where we can't do sbr. Hoping the clone police don't murder me for this one lol |

Anyone else see when you ordered the rail that it mentioned a possible shipping delay or 4-8 weeks or something?
I went with a black rail. I have kinda gone paint crazy on my other SBRs...... need a black gun again. I am not paying for a Colt lower. I am not that dedicated to a true clone and will probably get a lighter barrel. I am going to take a few carbine classes next year and want something on the lighter side. |

| Gonna go a slightly different route in that I'm wanting to put a surefire socom as close to the federal rail as possible. Anyone know what barrel length i'd need to get that to work? (I understand it'll probably have to be cut; I'm not set on it being a true clone, just think that would look great) |
