Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but we're all moved in and I'm back in NJ finishing up work and outprocessing. We live close to 107 and 319, so it's a little south of town. I was down there for a couple of weeks last month; I DID NOT want to return to NJ. If my truck could've driven itself, I would have gone AWOL! j/k Look forward to the goat roast and shooting again. The Heights. I shoot several disciplines out at Benton Gun Club. We're getting ready to have our first carbine match on October 27th: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=45&t=282275 Is just so happens that during the same time as the carbine match, we have our Prone Centerfire Rifle 200/300yd match on one of the upper ranges (there are about 8 or 9 separate ranges on the same 120 acres). We have guys using bolt guns as well as ARs for this one. We also have a great Smallbore Silhouette range, and just hosted the AR State Smallbore Championship the weekend of Sept. 15-16. Had a good turnout with 93 competitors this year. Also in the works is a project to build a 600yd rifle range. We are pulling back the firing line of our curring 300yd range. This will give us the full 500 meters that we need for Highpower Silhouette. THAT is going to be the game to play! Anyone feel free to PM me for more info about the club or the various disciplines. |
