Okay, listen up Long Island Folks: If you have any interest in coming and Mags is driving, and Vinnie can flash the tin to handle any speed traps  , why don't you see about calling Alamo for a mini or full-sized van with free mileage? What can two days of rental split 4 or more ways cost?Plus, you have cargo capacity for your purchases!

not me...... a couple a years ago, I'd be there in a second. But then I grew up and came to appreciate what I am. We have a saying in Jewish that even when something bad happens, it's for a good purpose. I figure I'm saving money on all the ammo I would have blown on these Saturday shoots. All I know is, I am putting the final touches on my two ARs and once they're ready, I'm gonna come over from the trap side of Calverton to the rifle side. and I'll be there every sunday. And I'm bringing all my imaginary Jewish friends with me, and we're gonna have candy and soda and a clown and NONE OF YOU ARE INVITED.  |

The more I re-read this, the more I see how it can be misinterpreted. These two gentlemen (Aimless and SP10) are two of my closest and most endeared members of the upstate NY crew,so I was messing with them. I never meant this to imply that SP10 is arrogant or conceited.....because he actually is the opposite of that. Damn SP10,I hope you realize that what I said was not intended to mean what it "seems" to imply Sorry bud.You know I meant no harm.I thought the sarcasm was obvious when I said Aimless IS the bomb! Uh,oh......another apology I will need to make!

Well damn, after all the malfs that P12 has inflicted on you, one would think you would WANT to toss it in the bushes. Would you PLEASE remind me what pistol you are going to shoot at our course next month Looking at the bright side, at least you should already be proficient with failure drills. TAP, drop mag, look puzzled. Hysterical laughter off to the side. A BANG in there somewhere  An easy place to meet at the end of the show is our table, which I hear is G33 this year. Dan or I will confirm. The annex straight across from the entrance is also a good meeting place. |

Trickle into the show Saturday if you can, or if you are late and coming in from out of town... meet up at Tully's at 6:00 I am going to start a new thread and tack it. The ONLY thing to be posted in that thread is if you are going to be attending... this is so we can get a count for reservations for dinner. Any other posts in said thread will be deleted. Some people are very grouchy when deer hunting.I heard another guy say"where the hell are you going? This is prime hunting time,so get back to your stand!" Is this the show that we went to a couple of years ago? It had 3 levels in one room? And was Tom Brown there selling knives? I think Aimless pointed him out. The gate to gate time between Albany and Syracuse is 2 hours going 70 mph. Some downstaters might find it faster to cut through PA to get to 81 North and shoot straight up to Syracuse.

True, as you can get to I-81 from either I-80 or I-84 and pay no tolls. Also, you can take the Quickway (NYS Rt. 17 North, exit 4W on I-84) to Binghamton and get I-81 north there. BTW, the speed limit on the Quickway is now 65 MPH. |
