Only have 2 Colts, bought both used. An early 3rd gen SAA  and a NM made in '69.  Well, I've got 2 1/2 Colts actually. Bought a stainless XSE over a week ago, but here in CA, gotta wait a total of 12 days before I can pick it up (which is Monday). First handgun I've bought in years. And yes it is stupid to have to wait, but this is CA, it's supposed to be. |

Custom bright stainless officers model by Wilson Combat: Trigger job with custom bright polished trigger. Fitted high rise beaver tail. Fitted two piece FLG. Turn and fit barrel bushing.  My retired Gov't model competition .45 with Wilson Combat match barrel and compensator, Bo-Mar BMCS melted rear sight, Wilson parts; SS 2 pc full guide rod, ambi combat safety, beavertail grip safety, aluminum match trigger, extended combat mag release button, opened-flared ejection port, flat checkered mainspring housing, beveled mag well, 20 lpi front strap checkering and McCormick SS mags customized by King's Gunworks which I used back in the 80s USPSA-IPSC and combat club matches. 5 shots 2.2" groups at 50 yd on Ransom machine rest with 200 gr semi wad cutter lead bullets, max load Bullseye powder and GI surplus brass.  MKIV Combat Govt model 80 Series .45 with solid match bushing, tuned barrel link and beavertail grip safety, all Colt parts except for Wilson SS solid guide rod and hex grip screws.  Stock MKIV Government Model Series 80 stainless steel  MKIV Lightweight Officer's ACP model, reliability work by King's Gunworks, narrowed hammer spur, polished feed ramp, tuned extractor, aftermarket black wood grip and hex grip screws |

Here is my 1991 NRM. It's currently at Colt getting the O Package. I'll post another pick when it gets back. This is a Combat Commander slide on Officers frame from Colt circa 1995 or so. I bought it new at my local gun shop and sent it to Novak. Novak installed the nite sites, new beaver tail and gave it a carry bevel. Bead blast finish.  My 1991 is back! Here she is after the O Package...   Here are my Colts, together again  |
