He's probably a candidate to take Wayne LaPeirre's spot, or to sit on the board to influence the .gov.

I predict he will vow to “protect our beautiful 2nd Amendment.”
But we all know he will be a lying cocksucker. |

Quoted: @SmokeEater2, actually it is different. The USSS has the authority by law to declare areas to be a gun free zone per federal law. FDLE, the state agency tasked with protecting the Governor doesn't. It was the DeSantis campaign that was declaring locations to be gun free zones and then shifting the blame to FDLE when by law, FDLE can't. View Quote Damn. So Ron really is as shitty a choice as Don. Attached File |

That being said I don’t think Ron is as shitty as Don (if you look through the lesser of evil lens). They aren’t even in the same ball park IMHO. One of the above has donated to and pardoned felon democrats & donated to the Clinton foundation. One has ran a state with a balanced budget. One has pushed for and enacted gun control. One has hired Wilbur Ross. One has ushered in a level of socialism this country has never seen. |

I switched from NRA to GOA. The more gun rights advocates the better like them or not IMO. Better than supporting moms demand action or everytown or some BS I guess.
I'd go back to the NRA if they change leadership. |

I wonder if he’s going to talk about bumpstocks.
The NRA and trump are two peas in a pod in regards to the 2nd amendment The simps who lined up for their free tax stamp should join them |
|
As a benefactor life member, no, I will not attend any speech by Trump.
I can tolerate an apathetic politician, but the bump stock EO seals the deal. As far as guns go he was never on our side, until he needed votes. |

Donald Trump: 'I don't know why anyone needs an AR-15'. Report: Wanted 'assault weapon' ban gun control law while in the White House
In the summer of 2019, after back-to-back mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso involving an AR-15-style pistol and an AKM-style rifle, Trump told aides that he wanted to ban AR-15s, according to people present for the statements. “I don’t know why anyone needs an AR-15,” Trump told aides as he flew on Marine One to the White House in August 2019, according to a person who heard his comments. As one former official put it in describing the real estate developer turned politician, “His reflexes were a New York liberal on guns. He doesn’t have knee-jerk conservative reflexes.” But Trump was also petrified of the NRA and others taking him on, former advisers said, and heard from a number of advisers that it would be unpopular. Trump ultimately stopped entertaining the idea of working with Democrats on gun control later that year, when he was caught in a scandal over his now-infamous phone call with Ukraine’s president. “F--- it, I’m not going to work with them on anything. They’re f---ing impeaching me,” Trump said in one Oval Office meeting, according to a participant. View Quote |
