OK, for you Porsche schmot guys Macan or Cayenne? My budget is 55k. I'm looking at 2016-18ish, under 50k miles if possible (but will go higher if the maintenance has been done). Size of the SUV doesn't matter. I have talked to mechanics who shit on the Macan as far as reliability compared to the Cayenne, but it's a lot sportier and much easier to get a Turbo in my price range. |

If you don't care about size... just go with the Macan, you can get more bang-for-you-buck performance wise. I'll likely replace my truck with a Cayenne Coupe at some point in the future (though, I am not completely writing off the Macan)... this will be the "practical/utility car" so I'll be shooting for the S / GTS range (vs Turbo, lol). Or maybe I'll get the hybrid to extra piss off @whiskersthecat J/K the loner we had was the hybrid... that thing puts down "S" performance numbers, I'd feel no shame driving one at all. |
