I picked up my first bottle yesterday after a local tip from an ARCOMER. I didn't even know it was in FL yet.

I just opened my bottle of Blanton’s since I met with my new boss (head coach/athletic director) today.

I’m pumped about my new job.

At the in-laws. Ran out of EH Taylor. This was all they had... It’s terrible but mixes okay with coke.

I opened this tonight. Not bad. Actually kind of tastes like Blantons to me, but I'm a noob. Anyone else try this? I tried the coffee one a couple weeks ago and it's Ok.

Bought a sourced bourbon this afternoon, which I generally don't do.

Whistlepig 12yr Old World Rye.  It's an MGP sourced rye finished in 3 different wine casks.

Not bad at all honestly.  Very clean tasting with hints of fruit.  Just enough rye burn to let you know it's there.  It's worth trying if you get a chance.

I need to snag a Bulleit 12 year rye, which is MGP juice. 12 years is an old rye. I love my WhistlePig 10 year ryes.

Gonna have to use image search since my phone camera just keeps getting worse (it is physically broken). G4 Blanco. Very similar to Pasote. Both made by Felipe Camarena at Nom 1579. G4 is 50/50 rain/deepwell water. Pasote is 40/60 rain/deep well water. G4 is more floral and vegetal, Pasote is more fruity. Both are minerally as fuck which is awesome!

That's a good bottle.  I gambled on one myself and was pleasantly surprised.

I see Kentucky Owl Bourbon and Rye on occasion but never tried any.

I did buy a bottle of the Big Level and it was undrinkable imo.

It's a good bourbon.  I gambled on it based on the proprietor's advice.  Glad I did.

Finally snagged one of these. Wow, I am glad I did. 12 year rye for $50, which in this market, is insane.

Its MGP, but fuck, its delicious.
