Camp LeJuene, N.C. 2nd FSSG, 2nd Maint BN, Ord Maint Co, Infantry Weapons Shop (DS/GS repairs) MSSG-24, Deployed to Carribean, Medditerainian, South America, Gitmo/Cuba. Got out and had 5 years "broke time" U.S. Army Reserves, Miltech program: Aug 91-Present 91-94,MOS 11B X, E-5 Drill Sergeant, 80th Div, 318th Rgt, 2nd BN, Co E. 94-Present, MOS 913A, Armament Repair Technician, CW4 Expeditionary Sustainment Command Deployed to Bosnia Jul 96-Feb 97, serveing as the Non-Divisional Maint Officer with the 1st Armored Division, then as MMC liason to the 1st Infantry Division. Deployed to Iraq from Apr 05-Apr 06 for OIF 3.5 as a 915A, Support Maint Tech(secondary MOS) with the 414th TC, 81st RRC. Assigned to the 18th Airborne Corps and attached to the 1st, and then the 3rd COSCOM's. Ran Gun Truck missions providing security for CLP's out of Tallil(Nasiriyah). Covered the whole theater occasionaly going from as far south as Kuwait, to Mosul in northern Iraq. Majority of missions in the Baghdad or Najaf areas. Second tour to Iraq from July 07 to July 08 as the Senior Armament Repair Tech/Combat Systems Maintenance Manager with the 316th ESC stationed on Balad and working for the 3rd then 18th ABN Corps. As a Miltech, I work during the week as a civilian Small Arms Repairman for the 99th RSC. I provide Direct Support Level inspections and repairs to Reserve equipment covering half of the units in my state. AKA, I work on this stuff everyday. Wpns Man |

not enough Zoomies on here so here goes: USAF 1980-1990 (nine years eleven months 27 days) Aircraft Pneudraulics Systems Specialist Basic at Lackland AFB, TX Tech Training at Chanute AFB, IL 4507th CAMS, Shaw AFB, SC (O-2's and CH-3's) 39th AMU, SHAW AFB, SC (CT-39's) 363rd CRS, SHAW AFB, SC (RF-4C's, F-16's) 43rd FMS, Anderson AFB, Guam (B-52G's, KC-135's) Ended up at Mountain Home AFB, ID (EF-111's) Got out as a E-6 and they go and have a war three months later....go figure. Had a ball while it lasted, went to Australia (and got treated like a king for being a TSgt), did Okinawa for six weeks of NCO Academy (big fun). Proud to have worn the uniform with a lot of great people, would do it again in a heartbeat. |

I read on another string where someone complained about us thinking that every one knows all the MOS codes. So, here are the explanations of mine.... 96C (which became 97E) Interpreter/Interrogator/Translator (Interrogator being the primary) 96B Intel Analyst 96F Psychological Warfare All my others were additional skill identifiers: G German linguist JA Japanese Linguist NBC NCO and a few others not really worth mentioning. Went to jump school, but had to drop when I ended up in the hospital for surgery. Did jump with the Green Beret Club @ Bragg. Hope this helps.. |

In general, Leadership Academy is held during the early summer for one week at Camp Pendleton, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a very demanding program and only those cadets who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and maturity will be selected for the opportunity to attend.
