Rtx3090, 5950x, 128gb Ram, 3tb NVME PCIE4, all water cooled.

I have added a back side water cooling plate to the 3090 and switched away from the distribution block to a normal pump and res as the only changes from this pic.

Running it with a LG c9 65” OLED 4K at 120hz, sennheiser ote cans, and Logitech mechanical keyboard.

I tend to keep my builds from 5-7y.  2020 was my due date for a new build as my prior computer was from 2014.  I plan to keep this one as my primary system until 2025 at a minimum.

And yea, this was a no expense spared build, there's $1400 in just water cooling components alone.  Mono block, front/back GPU block, 3x 360 rads, 9 fans, distribution block, chrome hard lines, pump, 3 water temp sensors, flow rate sensor, fittings (nearly $400 in fittings), and the all important drain for maintenance .

Current build is a NUC so I could bolt it to the back of my dell 43 4k, though now I have a 4TB p50 game drive wired on the lightning to run local backups faster vs the slower gigabit lan, so its not as clean.

Not crazy, but I like it.

Ryzen 5600X with 32GB Ram.
Currently using a RadeonPro WX8200 for CAD work. Will probably buy a gaming card once supply is normal again.

Damn.  Oh, and the active backplate is a great add-on. Got one on my 3080.

Water cooled 3080, 5950x with an AIO. The little gizmo at the top is a little vacuum pump that actively prevents any kind of leaking.  I went with hard tubing. Total pain in the ass.

I'm all about the SFF.  I recently got a Yuel Beast Monument and will be making a mostly passive setup with the Noctua NH-P1 (Vid cards are harder to passively cool).  Current setup is a 3 yo Alienware laptop with missing f and w keys hooked up to an external monitor.  Fuck Alienware and Dell.

The Monument is awesome, I've just always been wary of committing to a really small GPU (especially in today's market where any GPU is scarce.)

I'm not much into RGB on my computer builds (in fact I have no use for it at all).
The case just sits underneath out of sight - I just need/want as much cooling as I can get.
My computer case is nothing much to look at if you are into something that looks like Walt Disney threw up - but it works perfectly for my needs.

My last build I wanted something easy to transport.   I went with a Thermaltake Core V1.  You can take the top and both side panels off which made building it very easy.  Litter fucker still has 4 hard drive slots.

Not flashy, but cool in it's own way.

"Cool" case, huh?

Weeeeeell, nothing like that here, unless you call the Antec Three Hundred "cool".

I mean, it runs pretty cool, but it don't have much going it in the looks department.

Or is this more "I'll climb Mt Everest. Why? Because its there" or future proofing?

It was a couple things:

1.  2020 component availability, I wanted a 3080 and a 5900 but couldn't get what I wanted and got a 3090 and 5950.
2.  Future proofing, I keep my rigs for 5-7y.
3.  It was fun and I had been planning a fun build for a couple years leading up to this.
