Lever gun fans tend to fall into two camps: Those who love having a few in regular rotation and those who go very deep. For some it’s an occasional taste, others a compulsion, but there is something about the history, beauty, and utility of lever guns that speaks to people. As passionate as lever gun folks are, and despite the fact that you can find us anywhere, it’s still a niche in the firearm market. There’s never a flood of new models, and this year is no different. However, there are plenty of cool new rifles to satisfy lever gun junkies.

I just wanna buy a 38/357 for my son before it’s too late and for less than 1k. Doesn’t seem likely :-/

I love my Winchester 94. It's light, handy, smooth, everything you could possibly want in a stripped down hunting or woods rifle below the 49th.

I WISH Winchester would grace us with an 1895R rifle with full accessory kit..............bayonet, sling, etc.........let Miroku build it or whomever, and make it available in more than one caliber
I'd be first in line to buy one |

Isn't marlin liquidated to ruger? How do they have new models?

What type stripper clip will it use? Unfortunately the bayonet will probably be made of shit pot metal from China. |

One can move fast with a lever gun.
Reload as you move. Easy to clean and small number of parts. Really a KISS rifle. |

I think it could utilize 1903 steel stripper clips..........Swedish mauser clips are a good substitute for those. As for the bayonet, one of the various knife makers in Japan could make that as well.............and I'd take mine in 06 as well |

Just received one of these at work with they would offer that wood on other rifles.

I've been looking for the new Henry .357 case hardened carbine with side loading gate since it was announced and nothing. I have in stock alerts set up at a dozen places and nada. I'm losing faith in 2021.

Have you seen the price on 30-30 ammo? good lord... My lever gun is probably the most expensive thing I have to feed at the moment...

The swedish strippers I still have somewhere worked great. The US Springfield strippers I had sucked. The new strippers should be direct copies of Swede strippers. Make my bayonet with a 10.5" blade. |

Now I'm definitely getting one of those with the ghost rings and pic rail; I have an Aimpoint T-1 that will be right at home on it. Plus, 45-70 costs half of what 30-30 does now |

I found several cases of 30/30 in the ammo fort and my favorite rifle was stolen.
I keep thinking I need a 94... What is the most accurate lever rifle these days? |

Just gave a family member my Winchester 1894 in 30 30 with about 8 boxes of ammo, the red push button safety on the frame just always bugged the hell out of me. So of course I had to replace it with another lever gun - a Cimmeron Arms 1886 in 45 70 with case colored frame and lever and blued full length octogonal barrel with 8 round magazine and a straight stock with crescent butt plate - sweet. Looks nice with my Uberti 1873 in 45 Colt with case colored frame, octogonal full length barrel and straight stock and crescent butt plate. Also nice that neither have any of that modern safety crap on them.
