Now do a pistol/SBR upper, Brownell's.  That has potential to be really cool.

Whoa! this is pretty much what I have wanted to happen for many many years...everyone though such a thing
was non possible...

If this works...pretty cool...

Magpul handguard and folding stock...it could be Masada'ish too....

That's pretty cool. They should do a retro version that looks just like an original AR-180 upper.

Kinda in the "Neat, but why?" category, but I like it.

I want it with retro AR-18 sights and handguards though.

As an AR-180B owner: Neat.

I'd also like a 10.5 with a cool brace.

Cool Idea.  Would like to pick one up!

Not in love with the charging handle...more so the design of it...seems like snagcity.

If they made a shorter version I could see that as a very cost effective PDW solution without having to deal with crappier AR style folding adapters nor spending an arm and a leg for the SIG solutions.

SBA3 or other suitable brace, red dot and perhaps a different design of charging handle.

Other than a reasonable price and decent reliability I couldn't ask for more.

Given their line of retro rifles I would be utterly baffled if they didn't ultimately do this. They are probably releasing the Mlok Tacticool versions now because they don't have suitable handguards yet.

Looking forward to someone doing a side by side comparison of this and the Wolf T91 upper.

One other note.

Vulcan/Hesse/whatever tried to do this some years ago and it was an unmitigated disaster. But what else can one expect from Vulcan?

GunLab looks at the Vulcan V15 AR18 hybrid

Let us examine these very closely when they become available.

I started a thread in their industry forum to ask price and if they're planning on short uppers.  It probably wouldn't hurt if all the other folks who want to see that upper were to go and voice their support for the idea.
