View Quote It's fascinating. I watched "They'll Love Me When I'm Dead" before "The Other Side of the Wind. It made the actual movie a bit easier to understand. |

Stranger Things 3 - I liked it, comedy mixed with sci fi horror/action. remember: you can't spell America with out Erica
Another Life - meh, a sci fi action/drama, it starts out slow and doesn't get the story cranked up until half way through the series. Aliens land on Earth and no one can communicate with it. So Earth sends a exploratory mission back to where the aliens came from. Almost every cliché sci fi storyline gets woven into the adventures of the mission. |

Fort Doom a no budget ( couldn't even spring for horses) western/horror an absolute snoozefest.

the Crew a damn good French heist film lots of HK 416 and FN SCAR porn more gritty and realist than anything out of Hollywood.

|
Triple Frontier Ben Afflick Charlie Hunan are a pair of supposedly bad ass operative who plan a perfect heist on a Colombian drug dealer that goes south real quick this movie is so full of cliches and over the top acting that the only reason to watch this movie is for the weapons handling and female eye candy other than that hell I could've plan a better hit than these bunglers Sabotage is much better.

Operation Red Sea an excellent Chinese war movie set in 2011 Yemen where The Chinese navy go to rescue hostages very gritty and more realistic than most Hollywood war pictures and actually portrays the jihads as the bloodthirsty butchers they are something Hollywood refuses to do.
|
|
|
Savage Dog set in 1959 Indochina it is a cool throwback to the 80's action movies that we all loved lots of awesome accurate to the era firearms including STG 44 rifle and MAT49 lots of fun and very brutal.

Shazam - a kid/family friendly superhero movie
The Boys (on Prime) - a ultra realistic take on superheroes living on Earth. Definitely R-rated. Not a kids/family friendly series. It was really good. |

second season of Mindhunter on Netflix. A really good crime/police drama.
I really liked it, just as good as the first season. |

On NetFlix: "OA" - I thought it was not a series as they intentionally repurposed the word PART for SEASON. Part One was a struggle (CRITICS and Viewers agreed), Part Two actually Season Two is really grabbing you. Series is CUT, there will be no more. For reasons previously stated, people with money were not impressed - no refunding of Project.
Deadwood - the movie (I guess I watch the series sometime soon.) |

We're almost done with Bloodline on Netflix. Like it. Only 3 seasons long so it seems like every episode there's something big going on.. Not a bunch of fluff episodes

Gun control is like trying to eliminate drunk driving by making it illegal for sober people to own cars

Red Sparrow. Jennifer Lawrence Awesomeness, almost 2.5 hours that flew by. <-- No pun intended.

Dave Chapelle's latest standup special on Netflix - 'Sticks and Stones'
ran across it while browsing and watched it a few days ago (just before the sjw mobs blew up on twitter (against it)) I was a fan of his comedy show, this standup performance was hilarious, laugh out loud funny |

Charlie Says the Manson murders as told by the incarcerated girls pretty heavy with the swj crap how it wasn't their fault blah blah blah but it get kudos for portraying ol Chuckles as the sack of shit that he was very well acted.

watched Day of the Dead Bloodlines
it was ok, a cheap remake of Day of the Dead. pretty cheesy. Watched the Punisher series and while some parts where a bit hokey overall I thought it was pretty good. Watched Longmire and enjoyed most of it. Watched the Lost in Space series and well some of it was good, and some parts was a bit too much sjw bullshit. special effects were really good though. watched the last Predator movie and I liked it. it had some campy parts, but I enjoyed the humor they added. |

|

Carry it, shoot it. (repeat forever)
4:1 4 is to mental as 1 is to physical |
White Orchid - IMO kinda sucked..... it really had potential but the Lead Female just could not act, and the Director should be bludgeoned.
US Open - Men's and Women's Finals were really uncredible. Started DARK Series on Netflix. |

Netflixed:
Tinker <-- solid movie, good plot and nice character development. Time Trap <-- seemed silly at times, but sometimes you just gotta remember you are to be entertained and let the *set* reality happen, some interesting twists on an increasingly trendy theme "Bending of time, etc..." Beyond the Skyline <-- again SciFi, watch it again, er... maybe. The Survivalist <-- had decent really good potential, too much of the *selfie-handheld* reality perspective. The Red Sea Diving Resort <-- based on real story of Israelis smuggling 10K+s Ethiopian and other African Jews out of Africa. Kardec <- again based upon true story mid 19th Century France Louis 3rd Time period "Damn nice duds they wore." How It Ends <-- Very good Apocalyptic with Forest Whitaker. |

Mrs. IHJ and I binged all three seasons of ‘GLOW’ over the last week, and we both loved it. Well written, acted, and produced. I even managed to not despise Mark Maron, which is something that happens when I try to make it through his ‘comedy’ or podcasts.

Am watching Assault on a Queen with Frank Sinatra and Virna Lisi right now. Never saw or even heard of this one. To quote, a rich Italian and her German partner hire an American to fix up a U-boat for a heist on the Queen Mary. It was released in 1966 and is a period piece so to speak.

View Quote Check out "Von Ryan's Express" another Sinatra Movie. The "Man with the Golden Arm" or "From Here to Eternity" that is the Film (Role) which brought Sinatra back from the *dead* - In the GodFather Johnny Fontaine (the real Sinatra Story) horse head offer he couldn't refuse is based upon Sinatra NEEDING to get "that role IS ME." Amerigeddon a more realistic scenereo on how the United States will be taken over by the UN scum and their traitorous lapdogs.

The movie was surprisingly good.
It also had a surprising Lack Of Nudity in it. While there were many scenes in a Strip Club about the only real nudity was in the dressing rooms. Those scenes were brief. Hustlers | Official Trailer | MTV Movies |

El Camino - I liked it, had the same production quality that BB had.
Deadwood: The Movie - like El Camino, this also had the same production quality that made the series so enjoyable. in both shows, the almost two hour movies seemed like extended series episodes. |

Three From Hell not bad if you take it for the sleazy exploitation movie it is and not be expecting academy award winning material.
|
|
|
Dolemite Is My Name pretty good movie although Eddie Murphy was still Eddie Murphy imitating Rudy Ray Moore.
|
|
|
show: jack ryan: season 2
i liked it, but i liked season 1 more. i hate that there were only 8 episodes, too. and it reminded me a lot of clear and present danger (which isn't a bad thing). movie: lord of war i liked it (first time watching). there were some parts that were "meh"...but overall a decent flick |
|
|
Finished watching Mayans MC second season a very underrated series much better than SOA.
|
|
|
Mind Hunters seasons 1 and 2.
Mars. Both on Netflix. Both were pretty good, though Mars had a few 'unprofessional' plot twists that I didn't think would have occurred they way they did in a real situation. |
