I thought it was superb.  Gary Oldman as Churchill was a brilliant piece of casting.  After the first few minutes I really thought I was watching Winston Churchill not an actor playing Churchill.
The historian in me dismissed the few inaccuracies in the film ansd went with it.  It's that good.
Highly recommended.

I finally finished 'The Other Side of the Wind', and it was unlike any film I've seen. The documentary about Orson Welles and the film he spent the last years of his life trying to finish was as interesting as the film itself. Check them out on Netflix if you're so inclined.

There is a Netflix produced documentary called "They'll Love Me When I'm Dead" that tells the story of Welles's real-life struggle to get "The Other Side of the Wind" made.
It's fascinating.  I watched "They'll Love Me When I'm Dead" before "The Other Side of the Wind.  It made the actual movie a bit easier to understand.

Stranger Things 3 - I liked it, comedy mixed with sci fi horror/action.  remember: you can't spell America with out Erica

Another Life - meh, a sci fi action/drama, it starts out slow and doesn't get the story cranked up until half way through the series. Aliens land on Earth and no one can communicate with it.  So Earth sends a exploratory mission back to where the aliens came from.  Almost every cliché sci fi storyline gets woven into the adventures of the mission.

One of the better neo-noir films out there..  Bears a vague similarity to Taxi Driver.
Joaquin Phoenix's performance is excellent.

the Crew a damn good French heist film lots of HK 416 and FN SCAR porn more gritty and realist than anything out of Hollywood.

Triple Frontier Ben Afflick  Charlie Hunan are a pair of supposedly bad ass operative who plan a perfect heist on a Colombian drug dealer that goes south real quick this movie is so full of cliches and over the top acting that the only reason to watch this movie is for the weapons handling and female eye candy other than that hell I could've plan a better hit than these bunglers Sabotage is much better.

Operation Red Sea an excellent Chinese war movie set in 2011 Yemen where The Chinese navy go to rescue hostages very gritty and more realistic than most Hollywood war pictures and actually portrays the jihads as the bloodthirsty butchers they are something Hollywood refuses to do.

Shazam - a kid/family friendly superhero movie

The Boys (on Prime) - a ultra realistic take on superheroes living on Earth.  Definitely R-rated.  Not a kids/family friendly series.  It was really good.

Dave Chapelle's latest standup special on Netflix - 'Sticks and Stones'
ran across it while browsing and watched it a few days ago (just before the sjw mobs blew up on twitter (against it))

I was a fan of his comedy show, this standup performance was hilarious, laugh out loud funny

watched Day of the Dead Bloodlines

it was ok,  a cheap remake of Day of the Dead.   pretty cheesy.

Watched the Punisher series and while some parts where a bit hokey overall I thought it was pretty good.

Watched Longmire and enjoyed most of it.

Watched the Lost in Space series and well some of it was good, and some parts was a bit too much sjw bullshit. special effects were really good though.

watched the last Predator movie and I liked it.  it had some campy parts, but I enjoyed the humor they added.

Mrs. IHJ and I binged all three seasons of ‘GLOW’ over the last week, and we both loved it. Well written, acted, and produced. I even managed to not despise Mark Maron, which is something that happens when I try to make it through his ‘comedy’ or podcasts.

Am watching Assault on a Queen with Frank Sinatra and Virna Lisi right now. Never saw or even heard of this one. To quote, a rich Italian and her German partner hire an American to fix up a U-boat for a heist on the Queen Mary. It was released in 1966 and is a period piece so to speak.

The movie was surprisingly good.

It also had a surprising Lack Of Nudity in it.
While there were many scenes in a Strip Club about the only real nudity was in the dressing rooms.
Those scenes were brief.

El Camino - I liked it, had the same production quality that BB had.

Deadwood: The Movie -  like El Camino, this also had the same production quality that made the series so enjoyable.

in both shows, the almost two hour movies seemed like extended series episodes.

Didn't exactly like it, but if Joaquin doesn't get some awards for his performance something is terribly wrong.

i liked it, but i liked season 1 more. i hate that there were only 8 episodes, too. and it reminded me a lot of clear and present danger (which isn't a bad thing).

movie: lord of war
i liked it (first time watching). there were some parts that were "meh"...but overall a decent flick

Mind Hunters seasons 1 and 2.

Mars.

Both on Netflix.

Both were pretty good, though Mars had a few 'unprofessional' plot twists that I didn't think would have occurred they way they did in a real situation.
