Metric is great for calculations, but for conveying information in a meaningful and intuitive way, imperial is superior.

Could you buy chance derive the log likelihood function for a panel spatial error Tobit model? I currently have no autists available to aid me.

I have kid with autism and the only reason he knows how far a kilometer is because we play Pokemon go together. He's 9. He knows about grams, kilos, liters and milliliters. School is forcing the metric system, I don't think they teach units of imperial awesomeness. He also knows which country was the first to walk on the moon.

Superior says more about your utility function and value judgement, which I happen to agree with. Objectively it is more coherent. Empirically, nobody GAF and the well versed scribe is fluent in both.

Metric ftw. Also screw fractional tools and measurements, decimal all the things.

People on the spectrum are now autistic. Dsm-5 updated the regulations to stated that all people with autism and aspergers, now just have autism. Something about losers and the metric system are communists and belong on the other side of the wall are mentioned in the same guidelines too. View Quote That was bad. I tripped up before the end of the first page. |

It's not American, therefore it sucks!
America began its downfall when our grandparents decided to give in and let a little metric creep in. |

Metric is for godless communists. I love metric for certain applications, it’s certainly easier to do math with, but some SAE measures make more sense for practical measurements. |

Well the metric system does make more sense to retards, so there's that. In case we want tards sending us to the moon or something. Oh wait the metric system has never gotten anyone to the moon.

It's not like the Euro's are measuring down to the millimeter every time; most people round off. At the same time, you can still do precise machine-work in fractions of an inch. It isn't the system that matters, it's the person doing the craft.

A foot is literally a foot in a boot. An inch is a thumb. These are all practical units for the needs of daily life. They are human-centric. I can totally see how an autistic person would think metric is superior. |
