I read lots of threads here about negative experiences with dealers and LGS. It gets depressing. This is my story...
So, three weeks ago I get the bug to buy another can. I had been looking real hard to find a large bore lever action firearm. I really liked the look of the Marlin 1895SBL, and hoped to pick up one of the new Ruger's soon. I got the bug to buy a suppressor for it, when and if it showed up. Looked around, and decided on a Rex Silentium MG7 from Hansohn Brothers. They're in my state, and I had done some business with them in the past with other cans. Their price looked pretty good, so I bought it, and started going through their version of efile. Well, about a week later, I remember that they had a discount code (REX30) that would take the price from $500 to $350. Now, that's a lotta change, no? I was actually reminded about the discount from reading a thread here where someone mentioned it. So, I had forgot, and it was going to cost me $150. I've done stupider things. LOL So, this is a week or more later, I decide to email them and ask if they could retroactively apply the discount code. Fat chance, I thought, they've got my money already, why should they give it up? Rightly so IMO. Today, I get another email from them, "Your Hansohn Brothers order #12345 has been partially refunded." OMG, really? Yep, they gave me back $150. They didn't have to, it was my fault that I didn't remember the discount. I find this so totally refreshing in this crazy, upside down world we are faced with each day. This... my friends, is customer service. Their eforms application went without any issue. Actually, they were waiting on me to send in our prints (trust). I read with dismay all the threads about other dealers and their episodes with efile. This group appears to have their act together. Next time I buy another can, guess where I will go? Signed, Customer for Life. ![]() Oh, @HansohnBrothers Good job. Impressive. |

Yeah the ongoing presence they have here, providing support is something we always need more of from industry. Thank you
ETA OP's experience with you speaks volumes about your honor with your customer base. Will recommend |
I've gotten all of my cans through them, will go back when I'm ready for more

I've done all my suppressor transfers and one SBS through Hansohn Brothers.
I highly recommend them, great company to work with. |
I've only ever spent a few bucks with them but they shipped my order quickly. Zero complaints.
I sold some guns and HB did the transfers for me, before I left the state.
Great to deal with. |
I bought a YHM R9 and various YHM mount and end caps from them. Good service and I'll be back.

Bought my only can from them. If I fo on another, they’re where I’m gonna go.

I have two Knights cans being transferred through them when I bought them from out of state dealer, seemed really nice guys(I went by the business and had photos and prints made). Everything was spot on, now if the ATF would get off the pot and sign the forms, going on 10 months.

Hansohn Brothers are a good bunch. They have a repeat customer here.

I think so highly of them that if my SOT doesn't have something in sock, I transfer it from HB to him.

I wish they were in state. I’d probably buy even more cans from them.
They hooked me up on a hard to find can. |

They're awesome and in my backyard.
When people ask me for stuff I can't find in stock I usually point them over to HB (I'm a small-time local competitor ![]() |

I looked all over that website for an address, and no luck; do they have a storefront? |

Quoted: They do. If you google their name the address is in the info. It's best to call ahead, I usually do. I got the same can as OP transferred from HB to my local dealer. The price was right and the shipping/transfer was quick. I'll definitely purchase from Hansohn Bros again.

$150 never bought so much good advertising.
Well done, HB. Well done. |

Every suppressor related accessory I buy comes from HB. Great people, and active on the forums(as seen above).

Now I want to buy one of their remaining Rugged Obsidian 9mm cans.
Darn you, AR15.com. |
Hansohn Brothers is a state over from me but I have still bought all my cans (5) from them. They are really great to work with.
There are multiple silencer dealers within a 10-20 minute drive from my house. Hansohn Bros is just over an hour away. I go to Hansohn Bros. Their prices are more than fair, their customer service is top notch, and you REALLLY want someone who knows what they are doing with NFA items. Buying a can from someone who doesn’t know what they are doing is how you turn a one year wait into a two year wait.
On another note... haven't actually seen the $150 credited to my Credit card account, yet ....

They’re down the road from me. Handled two Silencer transfers for me. Super good people!
Credit given. Good job. Thumbs Up.
![]() This was a great deal on a can. Probably not the best can available, but it fit my budget and requirements. Now, just w-a-i-t-i-n-g on the AFT efile approval. |
