We have a shoot every 2nd Saturday of the month in Johnson City, Texas. (centrally located in the state) We already have a few AR15.comers that shoot with us. We have a blast!

ETH, I'm currently entrenched on the west koast and, for the time being, remain so due to family and economics. Being far enough removed from major targets and with ready access to natural resources, I will initially dig in if SHTF in the near future. However, my lady is currently working in San Antonio for an indefinite amount of time. I will be directing her to head for your general location should TSHTF and would hope that she is welcome. Due to the transitory nature of her job she has little to no equipment(defensive pistol). However, she's ex Coast Guard specialized in communications. The only requirement she'll have is that you accept her double yellow amazon parrot 'Green bean'. He's her baby and a source of unending entertainment. I thank you in advance for taking her in. This thread has also determined that the next piece of equipment I acquire to be some type of short wave radio set up. Long distance communication will most likely be key to surviving any long term event. Danforth out |

Anybody that knows anything about anything knows that the coolest, smartest, most well mannered, and most humble members at AR15.com are found in the southwest part of our United States!

I'll have at least one dune buggy out there for some adventurous touring of the Farm. Yes, bring sleeping bags and cots is you have them, but don't worry too much, we have always been able to make do with whatever we had. You will be pleasantly surprised, I think.
