Roughly the same number as stun guns which Caetano directly stated was sufficient for them to have status as "common use". But the government has an out here with the dangerous and unusual argument- in that the court could determine (using Heller) that MGs fall outside what they called the "core" of the Second Amendment, but not outside it entirely, and so they can be regulated, but not banned. They really don't have that out. The "AND" is the ultimate destroyer of arguments. There is literally no way that any gun, semi- or fully- automatic meets both criteria. Period. There is mental gymnastics, yes, but an actual, viable, defensible legal argument post Bruen, Heller, McDonald, Caetano and Miller? Does not exist. |

My dream before i die is to be able to own a select fire rifle and a belt fed weapon. Being able to go into the gun store and buy them and able to walk out of the store with them that day. Suppresors should not be regulated. I am not a lawyer but just reading through this thread i can see some good ways that alot of what is on the books as law now, is unconstitutional. The FBATFE should be peppering their angus.
