Quoted: During the whoopla on Wednesday's not-launch, some airhead on social media asked why we are taking 19 hours to get to the ISS when the Russians only take 6. The Soyuz gets there faster because the astronauts find Soyuz capsules to be smelly, cramped, and all around no fun. The Soyuz gets there faster because the astronauts find Soyuz capsules to be smelly, cramped, and all around no fun. This is also a new vehicle and they wanted to take time running it through some test and I think they did some hand flying. |

Anatoly Ivanishin looks bored-as-fuck floating by the PMA bulkhead.

Why aren't the "VIPs" at NASA already there?
The crew made sure to get to the ISS 15-minutes early, so they wouldn't be late. The VIPs are slacking. |

Definitely less cramped. A 40 year jump in tech is pretty incredible to see back to back. |

Interesting, the Shuttle was smoother than Dragon once the SRBs detached.

View Quote She has never, for one single moment in her life, lived without an astronaut in space above her. What grinds my gears is that the average person probably can not name a single astronaut that is in orbit right now without help, but can give you the names of all the pokemon or everything about some brain-dead celebrity. There were 950k people watching this launch. There were 650k people watching the docking. How many people know the names of these three men? I'll give a small hint. You have been awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics, for your outstanding contributions to our understanding of the development of the universe, from its early childhood, to present days, and our Earth's place in the cosmos. On behalf of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences it is my honor and great pleasure to convey to you our warmest congratulations. I now ask you to step forward to receive your Nobel Prizes from the hands of His Majesty the King." |

I’m pretty sure that huge package jammed in there is cargo, which future dragon crew capsules will jam packed with as well as more than 2 dudes. It’ll look a lot more like the first pic than the second when it’s a real mission. |
