I only use dragons breath for home defense so it wont overpenetrate
but really I use 00 federal reduced recoil loaded in 870 and in the side sadle 4 full power 00 loads and 2 1 oz slugs |

6+1 of flitecontrol 00, 6 of the same in the sidesaddle, and 4 slugs in the magazine of a speedfeed stock. standard zombie apocalypse loading

Why do I have a feeling those of of you advocating a mixed shot/slug load also have designated shot/slug shell holders on your shotguns. Good luck on your overly complex reload scenarios. I doubt they own a shotgun in the first place.  Probably the same folk who recommend racking the pump to scare the bejeebus out of the bad guys. |
