Between the forum sliding and consensus cracking that has happened here over the last 5 years, a huge portion of this sites member base has been led to believe some pretty outlandish stuff. |

I agree with moving the primarily political threads out of GD behind the member only section, even before the events of the 6th. I don't fully support or condone the actions of the 6th. I think you are seeing a lot of pissed off people in a free society. Sometimes you get what you get. |

Stating the obvious but this place has really changed over the years or shall i say “succumbed” to the pressures of society. It was a place i would come sit & read for hours about how to build my first AR and then i stumbled into GD. There were threads i read that were LOL funny and my family would look at me like i was crazy. Blading at 45 Lootie Ryan’ Steakhouse Brother Fucker Too many to name and Then the videos that were created to give a full synopsis of the years here. I really enjoyed it. And then one day something just changed. To me, It was about the time the Brits called to have the post removed from the site...I was floored that could happen. So then i told myself, NO more memberships but i caved due to the fact that i liked the “little” green arrows that much...lol Lately the atmosphere around here just doesn’t have that homey feel to it anymore...Yes, there still are great people, there always will be but everyone comes off as confrontational instead of inviting. In all the years here, I have never hit report or put anyone on ignore. Its just not who I am and i hope to never be that person. Hell, I even got a week timeout or shall I say a “weak” timeout last month for posting the meme of the South Park dad On Wheel of Fortune. It used to be posted almost weekly a few years ago and nobody blinked an eye.
