BTW, the lead singer is Rick Derringer, so he at least had two hits.

I'm going to have to disagree with the Missing Persons pick. When I was in Jr High, they had four or five Top 40 hits.

Off the top of my head, Destination Unknown, Words, Windows and my personal fav, Walking in LA.

Wikipedia

Player is an American rock band that made their mark during the late 1970s. The group scored several US Hot 100 hits, three of which went into the Top 40; two of those single releases went Top 10, including the No. 1 hit "Baby Come Back", written by group members Peter Beckett and J.C. Crowley.

Big in Europe , not so much here.

Check out the keyboard player, and tell me his name. He became a huge sensation.

OK, I'll make the question up above easy. The synth player above, played an instrumental, no pun intended, role in synth technology and pushing what it could do, along with Howard Jones, Nik Rhodes and others.

Did Gary Glitter ever have another hit besides Rock And Roll Part 1 and Rock And Roll Part 2

Anni Frid from Abba put out a solo album after the group broke up. Had one big hit.

Here's the other female from Abba, Agnetha. She had plenty of international success, but only one top 40 in the US as a solo artist.

With Phil Collins on drums and Eric Clapton on guitar. Great song, and had a hell of a hook.

I'm not sure if these guys are really a one hit wonder or not but I only remember one of their songs being really popular. If they are a OHW band they shouldn't be. Completely underrated.

The only song I remember being somewhat popular.

Some other good ones.
