Ok, folks, Kilkenny's was ahead of the Fish Market by only 3 votes, so I locked the poll b/c I like good beer better than fish. So we'll be at Kilkenny's. They're not taking reservations, so we'll need to agree on a time for everyone to turn up and ask for a table, and be prepared to wait - it's an Irish pub on a Saturday night, and the world's largest gun show is in town. The show Saturday is from 8:00 AM til 6:00 PM, so if you're gonna be starving by the time we all get together, get something from one of the vendors at the show to tide you over. Vote on the time we should get together - I really don't have a preference, but I think 6:30 is likely pushing it given traffic. Some folks will want to swing by your hotel and change, etc. They're open til 2:00 AM, so if we do get there late, we'll still be served. Please post up what days you're attending, if you have a table & where, what you're looking for, if you're coming to dinner, and if you can offer a ride to dinner. If we could carpool to dinner, that would make parking easier. Assuming my pet hedgehog is still stable (fuck cancer), I'll be in town Thursday night. I'm looking forward to checking out a few of the museums on Friday. Now I just need to enter into high-level negotiations to determine how much cash I'm bringing  . Hopefully I can find a decent export Mauser 98 long rifle in 8mm, Yugo M59/66, or a Mannlicher M95 carbine in good nick. Otherwise, it's a bayonet for my Yugo M24, an A1 or A2 20" barreled upper, or a few books. It'll be fun to gawk, no matter what. |

My son and I will be there Saturday and Sunday coming down from Wichita. Count us in to meet up for dinner or drinks Saturday night with fellow arfcommers. This is my first time so a few questions. Can you conceal carry as long as you keep your mouth shut? I know the rules say no loaded weapons but most gun shows around here you can carry if you keep it concealed. Are backpacks ok? I like to bring in pop and snacks in my backpack because I'm cheap  but I don't want to get strip searched and have my snacks taking away at the door.

Levels would be a more correct description than floors, my mistake. The lower level is dropped down via being downhill, as compared to the upper level, but they share the same roof. The building was built in the mid 1960's to accommodate the International Petroleum Exposition show and lower floor needed the height for taller equipment like derricks and drilling rigs. |

Never stayed up there before but it looks like a nice area. The cheap central Tulsa and airport hotels look sketchy. I've stayed in Catoosa by the casino before and some of the hotels south by 71st street and never had problems in those places. |
