Someone asked if I was doing a group text, and wanted in. Personally, group texts drive me batty, b/c MMS messages are inherently insecure, so I only accept them from folks I know, so then I have to manually download them. They're not as annoying as voicemails, but pretty annoying. I think I've IM'd everyone who's posted in this thread my #. If you see a Gewehr 98 receiver (not a beautiful example of a mint factory rifle, just the receiver) that is dated 1898, please text. If you would like to be texted if someone finds your holy Grail, go through the OP, click on those red usernames, and that will take you to that user's page, from whence you can IM them. IM your wants, needs, deepest desires, AND your phone #, to everyone listed as attending in the thread. Having done that, if you guys want to have a group text, have @ it. Just leave me out. Text me individually if Kilkenny's is on fire and we're now going to the Lipstick Caberet for dinner, etc. |

They may have people wear masks when they go in door, but they can't control people after they're inside. |

I expect it to be pretty crowded tomorrow. It was hot and humid inside the building today but should be cooler tomorrow. Bring water, the water fountains are covered up and they charge a lot for bottled water. The table setup is the same as normal. I noticed a number of regular dealers missing and a lot of new guys, especially ammo dealers and coins/silver/gold guys. Prices are pretty typical compared to other shows I've seen lately. I think a lot of these new ammo guys will be disappointed by sunday when their $1/round ammo isn't flying off the table. |
I quit early, tired. Bought a Winchester 52A made in 1934 first thing this morning. Passed on a high wall in 40-82 in rough shape. Stopped back at the table a couple of hours later to make a low offer. Someone else had just bought it. Was still standing there. Said he paid what I was going to offer.  Paid $600 for the 52. Are the dealers there primarily from Oklahoma or are they from all over the US? How do they determine if the item can be sold there or has to be shipped to an out-of-state FFL? Texans can purchase shotguns and rifles but pistols must be shipped to an FFL, right? |

Like someone mentioned earlier a dealer from your home state can (or could) do the transfer. |

Dealers from all over. Out of staters may buy rifles and shotguns from an Oklahoma FFL. Pistols must be shipped to a local FFL - look around, there's likely one of your LGS at the show that can take possession, even from a non-FFL. ETA: antiques are cash & carry. |

Picked up a pre-ban RamLine tri-mag Thurs, got to test it in a Mini-14 and two Sterlings. Fit in one Sterling, was tight in another. In the one that fit, it operated the LRBHO. Picked up a RamLine SKS stock for $5. Eagle pre-ban 10/22 mag that will head to Massachusetts. MSAR AR mag for $10. Win 97 stock for $70. |
