I send my condolences.
I just lost my father on Wednesday morning to Alzheimer's. A truly terrible disease. |

Even if you know it's coming, it's still not easy.
My sympathies to you and your family |

I lost my Dad years ago to colon cancer. I was there for his surgery to remove the cancer but had to go back to work 2.5hrs away a few days later. He was recovering nicely and then died suddenly from complications. He wasn't alone but I still feel guilty for not being there. I'm sorry for your loss and can tell you that it does get easier over time. |

Sorry for your loss. Loosing a parent is very hard to get over.

So very sorry to hear of your loss; our prayers are with you & your family in this tough time. Your father was fortunate to have you by his side, and it was courageous of you to be there with him. You are a good man. |
|
My condolences man. Just rest assured that he is in a lot better place than you are now.

God has called him to his table. He is at peace in Heaven. Prayers out... |

I am glad you were able to be there with him at the end. I was able to be with both of my parents as they died, and for some reason that really seemed to help me dealing with it. However, it was still hard.
Good luck to you, and may God grant you strength and serenity to deal with your loss. |

... about 20 minutes ago. He finally succumbed to his cancer & died as I sat by his side. Waiting on Hospice to get back to me on how to proceed. Kind of numb. Kind of sad. Kind of relieved in a way... it's been a hard two months for the both of us. At least he is at peace now. Waiting for a reasonable hour to start calling around, letting everyone know. Waiting by distracting myself with the computer. "I knew a man once who said, Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back." Goodbye dad. Sorry for you loss. I had the same thing happen. My Dad died of cancer at the age of 54. I still miss him a lot. I guess you never get over the loss of a loved one. Take care and I hope you can get along with your life and be happy. I am sure your pop would have wanted it that way. |

Sorry for your loss.
The words seem hollow, but I mean it sincerely. |

Sorry for your loss as i too have lived that same occurance. It`s good to know that you are not selfish enough to have him alive in any shape. Both of you are now in peace. What will take place in the next few days won`t matter as far as Dad goes. What matters is what happened before he passed.....I hope you understand,,,
