Sorry to hear of your fathers passing, but not to sound so cliche, he's in a much better place. Take time to mourn, and be there for family members, as a close knit family is the best system for mourning and dealing with a loved ones passing.
My prayers are with your father, you and your family during this very difficult time. |
|
I am sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family.

I'm so sorry... I'm glad that you were able to be with him - you will be grateful for that last bit of time with him as the years pass.
You and your family will be in our hearts today. |

Sorry, friend. Hopefully you have some pictures of you and him in better times. Put them under glass and remember him that way. That's what he'd want, I'm sure.
Daddys are special. |

I am sorry to hear that. My dad passed last February––it can be real hard. Keep the good times in mind as you work through your grief.
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. |

My condolences, may God comfort you and your family as only He is able.

So sorry for your loss. I dread the day when I will be in your position.
My God hold and comfort you and your family. |

A heartfelt thank you for all kind words & thoughts my friends.
I helped the funeral director move my dad a little while ago, and I'm currently making phone calls, arrangements, etc... I'm in "solve the task ahead of me" mode right now, so I'm doing OK emotionally, but I'm sure this all will hit me at some point. Gotta stay on point for now... Thanks again for everything. |

My condolences to you and your family. I went through the same thing with my father 3 years ago, still think of him every day. You're in all our thoughts.
Music has always brought me peace. Robert Hunter wrote the following lyrics for Phil Lesh, who was trying to express his sadness as his father was dying of cancer. I keep them on a table next to my bed. Look out of any window any morning, any evening, any day Maybe the sun is shining birds are winging or rain is falling from a heavy sky - What do you want me to do, to do for you to see you through? this is all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago Walk out of any doorway feel your way, feel your way like the day before Maybe you'll find direction around some corner where it's been waiting to meet you - What do you want me to do, to watch for you while you're sleeping? Well please don't be surprised when you find me dreaming too Look into any eyes you find by you, you can see clear through to another day I know it's been seen before through other eyes on other days while going home –– What do you want me to do, to do for you to see you through? It's all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago Walk into splintered sunlight Inch your way through dead dreams to another land Maybe you're tired and broken Your tongue is twisted with words half spoken and thoughts unclear What do you want me to do to do for you to see you through A box of rain will ease the pain and love will see you through Just a box of rain - wind and water - Believe it if you need it, if you don't just pass it on Sun and shower - Wind and rain - in and out the window like a moth before a flame It's just a box of rain I don't know who put it there Believe it if you need it or leave it if you dare But it's just a box of rain or a ribbon for your hair Such a long long time to be gone and a short time to be there Best wishes, Patriot. |
