Mark Levin Steyn is much better. Rush is to conservatism what NPR is to liberalism. http://the405media.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/mark-steyn.jpeg For a moment there I thought that was Chris Pratt and thought WTF? As for Rush, he should have retired long long ago..... |

Savage is a fucking retarded shiftless meatsack of neckbearded failure. He is in favor of gun control.
|
|
I'd listen to Rush a lot more if he was on satellite. Sometimes it's hard to find his show on the radio. There was a time when I listened to him every day. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Really wish Mark Stein had a nationally syndicated show. I totally agree. He's smart and witty guy, I agree. He's seen what the soft despotic rule of a velvet gloved socialist government can do. I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT HIM TO HAVE HIS OWN NATIONAL SHOW ON RADIO AND TV. IF NOT, FUCKING MAKE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

For a three hour show 30 vs 42 isn't burning anything. I don't have a pod to cast. I don't really want one either. It gets delivered to my ears via radio or not at all. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

2 1/2 hours of commercials with a half hour of actual Rush? That's why I quit listening. <---pre "Dan's bake sale" listener. Get the podcast 42 minutes of commercial free listening for every hour of the broadcast show. Which by way burns the shit out of your theory how much listening time there is on the show. For a three hour show 30 vs 42 isn't burning anything. I don't have a pod to cast. I don't really want one either. It gets delivered to my ears via radio or not at all. Can you even math bro. 42 minutes of show of every broadcast, or 126 minutes of actual show per 3 hour broadcast. For those of you from Rio Linda, that is 2 hours and 10 minutes show when you remove the commercials. Your contention of how much show is in the show was killed with fire. You do not need an iPod to listen to the podcast. Download the iTunes software to your computer and listen while you surf the web. |

I always love when people say Rush Limbaugh is a skilled debater.
|
|
Believe it or not, I've been listening to Rush since I was 12. I still like him, and I still learn stuff and get a good analysis. I hope he goes as long as he wants, and Mark Stein can take his place.

Rush is still the master. But it does get less interesting when he strays from politics.
Does everyone stay perfect all the time?

Quoted: Choke yourself. View Quote This. Right now the NFL is less about football and more about a cultural battlefield. It's relevant for that reason. Even when I don't agree with him, I do find him entertaining, which is more than I can say about any other political personality. It's possible to not like the guy ad still find him amusing. |

Really, out of touch. He has been so right on his predictions, even the jokes he tells about how out of control the .Gov will get have been right. For the last several years he has castigated the Republican Party for it suicidal embrace of Amnesty and the Party's refusal to embrace the TEA Party and put forth a conservative agenda. He was predicting the attacks on football three years before they happened, he only got the time line wrong, the thought it would take 5-10 years. View Quote mega dittos |

Listen to someone bitching about liberals all day? Sounds like general discussion radio.

Quoted: He was interesting maybe 20 years ago. Then the cult following, 'ditto's, 'mega ditto's'. Mouth piece for those whom can't think for themselves. And, his voice sounds tinny again, wonder if he's on oxycontin again? Remember in 2003 he was hooked on it and it destroyed his hearing, needed a cochlear implant? "Do as I say, not as I do." Is why you have a dial to change stations. View Quote |

I can't fucking stand him. If I make myself listen to him, I tend to find I agree with him, but his delivery disgusts me. NPR is the opposite. I love the delivery but I have to turn it off sometimes because of my blood pressure. View Quote I think this is interesting. If I recall correctly, you are a woman? My theory: Just as men can't stand Hillary because she reminds us of an ex wife, I think women connect rush with some guy they hate. Discuss. |

I heard Savage bash hunters one day. I stopped listening after that. He's also pro-magazine restrictions, and "assault weapon" bans IIRC. Donates to jerry brown, gavin newsom, and other democrats. Hypocrite statist to the fullest degree. Fake conservative. He's just playing a character. |

The NFL and Apple talk doesn't really bother me because he seems to know what he's talking about. What sucks about his show and what makes me think I've been taking crazy pills is. His inability (I know, due to his hearing) to understand or grasp simple concepts put forth by callers. He is constantly getting it wrong, not understanding their point correctly, or totally not grasping what they are saying. This is awful on a talk radio show. It is like listening to a half wit hosting a national radio show. He should not take callers because it is a drag on the show. View Quote I kind of wonder if he has a hard time hearing phone calls and so a staffer types out what the caller says...... but loses meaning with no punctuation etc....... I have noticed the same things you mention. And I have heard him state back what a caller just said almost like he was reading it back to them. So yeah I bet it related to his hearing. |

I hate talk radio, but a lot of people called me at my previous employer for business because of Rush and also Hannity, so the guy can't be that bad.
My personal favorite was around 2011 when some clown was talking about back in the 50s when we put a man on the moon. Guess that happened after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. |

Been listening to him since 2003; I like him, and once he decides to hang up his hat; I hope Bo Snerdley (aka James Golden; his call screener and producer - Certified Black enough to criticize Obama) takes over.

I listened to Rush for 4 year...every day. Can't stand him now, I am over political talk radio in general.

Why would he call it quits when he signs multi million dollar contracts every time his contract expires. He had one contract for $400,000,000. He had one for $38,000,000 a year, along with a $100,000,000 signing bonus. Why quit because some unknown person on ar15.com doesn't like him?

When Rush started trashing the establishment republicans I started listening more. Wish he would do more boycotts and interviews. At least Oreilly told his audience to boycott Mexico until they release our Marine. I didn't hear Rush say that. View Quote Don't you mean alcoholic former Marine? He was discharged from active duty in 2012. He was also carrying a loaded .45 unsecured in his vehicle cab, an illegal in California AR 15 and shotgun because he was afraid people were out to get him(according to his mother). If he was arrested in any state in the United States for violating vehicle carry laws he would be waiting for a trial and worse, just as he is in Mexico. |

He's like no one I know or have had around me. He's foreign and shocking. The last guy who acted that way around me, I kicked out of the store I where I was working (after fair and courteous warnings, naturally). |

Let me see if I have this straight now. The market determines that Rush's value is several million dollars a month. And that month's work is say maybe 60 hours. And this has been going on lets say maybe 25 years. Now you have a motley crew of 13ers, basement dwellers, and other odd characters who have determined that his time is up. "We are tired of him and he must hang it up." The hell with television. I come to Arfcom for my entertainment.

He can talk only so long about this administration's screw ups and incompetence before both he and the audience becomes numb. I know I have gotten this way of late. There just seems to be no end to the insanity. I do appreciate his persistence and courage to get the truth out and talk about other things as well. Sometimes you just got to give it a rest.

Wow. I'm actually surprised this many of you can stand to listen to him.
