Heart attack.  He was 55 years old.  Texas Ed was 50 when he died of a heart attack too...  I miss them dearly.

I like your chair.

It was such a good chair...

I know it bad, but I laughed at that, and remember hearing the story quite well.

He had like a million posts here, yet I don't remember ever reading any more than a few of them.

I think he hacked the site and set his post count at a trillion.

I don't know if our times here ever overlapped, I can't recall a post of his.

If we did overlap, I was very new here then, and overwhelmed by this place.

Took awhile for me to sort out who is who.

You and i joined about the same time but i remember him, you are right though too many personalities it took a long time to sort it all out. he would always end his posts with a random saying using his user name.

Wayne was a good host to all that entered the Hun farm.   He was the heart of the group and the troubadour to all the happenings!

Ammo was cheap and Windex was free!

Cheers to Wayne!

Isn't Scooter buried under the bushes shown in the background of that pic?

Had an opportunity to go out to the Hun Farm in 2005 when I was in Texas.  I didn't take it

ETH and I butted heads on a number of occasions, but behind the scenes we got along pretty well.

Shame I never got to meet him in person and shake his hand.

I just wish I would have been old enough to drink one of his famous Margaritas at the original Gunstock.

RIP Wayne.

Well, I guess it was free to MOST of the folks...  Each "free batch" cost about $80 + gas.  There were many a Hun Farm where 3 or 4 batches were served per night.   I conservatively estimate that I donated about $2500 to the Windex fund over the course of 5 years.

Maybe there should be a dedicated ETH forum or sticky thread?

I wasn't around to enjoy his posts, he seems like he was a great guy.

A master speaker/storyteller and fine southern gentleman. I only met him a few times but he is one person I will never forget.
