I'm voting Constitution Party if Michael Peroutka is on the ballot. Bush has way too many flaws:
- Amnesty for illegals - 40+ billion dollars to fund the socialist prescription drug program - He praises allah and islam and general - Going after weaklings like iraq and afghanistan, but he's too chicken-hearted to ask Congress to declare war on Iran and North Korea. - Forcing Israel to negotiate with with terrorist palestinians and give up territory - Enlarging the federal government to where it is the biggest in American history ( The Department of Homeland Security has more people in it than the departments combined to form it had originally ). - His supported ultra-liberal senator arlen specter in his bid for re-election - He allowed the state department to invite foreigners to "monitor" the election - He just asked the swift boat vets to remove their ads. Bush is sensitive and politically-correct and doesn't want to hurt the feelings of the looney liberals - He refuses to defend his federal judge appointees against the commies in congress - karl "marx" rove is one of his advisors Just some of his flaws. |

Well hell's bells... we're supposed to sit around and take orders from the GOP leadership elite without working to promulgate our own political ideology within the system? Gosh, and here I thought America was about exercising our political rights. Silly me. |

Personally, I don't believe anything that BenDover has written about his alleged run in with the Patriot Act!
He has not given any answers to the questions which I posed to him earlier. Which basically asked him how his case differed from a criminal case 100 years ago? An answer should have been on the tips of his lips! He's had plenty of time to think about his answer and to cite what was different in his case from a kiddie porn case in the 1960s! Or a federal tax evasion case in the 1940s! A citizen was charged with a federal crime, he or his attorney desired to obtain evidence from a third party (in this case, Ben), and that third party was compelled under subpoena to testify in a court of law in the criminal trial and to produce certain physical evidence and records. Ben was given ample opportunity to quash or 'ignore' the subpoena and filed a motion to do just that, which a federal judge reviewed and said, 'No.' No appeal of that judge's denial of Ben's motion to quash subpoena was taken, and Ben testified in the trial/hearing and produced evidence. Nothing related, so far, by Ben, would have been any different than had the case been a criminal case filed in the United States at any time in the late 18th, 19th, 20th, or 21st Centuries. And, yet, Ben wants to blame his recent legal difficulties with The Patriot Act! And, thereby, on President Bush! That is so absurd as to defy an easy explanation. Eric The(WeAreAllEars,Ben)Hun

You imagine that the full weight of the federal Leviathan was coming down upon your righteous head, when you were actually in the same court room where folks who illegally shoot migratory waterfowl wind up! No. You are an "employee" of the Republican Party. You do their bidding, or you get out. That is the HONORABLE thing to do.
Yes, America is. But just like you DO NOT have constitutional rights to free speech on this board when you sign them away in teh membership agreement, you as an employee also willfully sign away your constitutional rights in your duties as employee. Geez, I would think you are from France the way I have to explain the MOST basics elements of America and constitutional freedoms to you. |

Well, those are legitimate parts of who he is, so to say to leave them out is bullshit, but what else should we expect from someone who claims to support Bush, yet bashes him every time one turns around. Talk about bashing vets. You haven't paid attention at all. He came home and said that everyone that was over there were murderers and rapists. Talk about bashing vets. I am not going to delve into his antics while in-country, but what he did after he came home means this vet will bash him every chance I get. |

Instructing someone not to be a dumbass is distinctly different than saying that they are a dumbass. With your inability to distinguish the difference between the two, I am anything but concerned about whatever 'flame' could possibly be uttered forth from someone who could benefit by going back and sitting through a basic, 8th grade sentence diagramming refresher.
